yes azamax and azatrol are the same.. either works, i've used both. Azatrol is made by GH and costs 2 or 3 dollars less than the azamax.

i can't believe the hydro guy said that.. dumbfounding how little those people know. Kind of like asking for construction advice from the people who work at home depot... I was blown away when I realized that the people at my local shop don't really grow anything. I was contemplating some horrible advice one guy had just spoon fed to some novice customer while wondering why the in-store hydro table wasn't doing too well when it hit me... "these guys don't know anything!" I took it upon myself to correct the bad advice the noob was getting and have since become less popular at the shop. I no longer get my standard 15% discount when making small purchases. I have to remind them to give it to me when I stock up on nutes or buy new bulbs. As a result I am alot more free with the fact that they don't know anything whenever I hear them giving advice.

I hear ya on that. I have averaged a grand a month at my local hydro shop, so if they stopped giving me the 15% I would stop shopiing there. I don't take much advice from them anymore either. I will listen to what they say and then go do my own research before I purchase something. I mean I understand making money, but to give bad advice so that growers will come back and need to spend more money is shitty. I started buying the largest nutrient containers available so that I get the biggest discounts and savings. This keeps me away from the hydro shop unless it's time to re-stock. I have also corrected mis-information I hear the people working there give new growers in the store. I actually sent a guy to home depot to save $50 on a sprayer the other day in the hydro store.

Caveat emptor indeed with almost any "shop."

One of the problems of becoming a defacto "expert" is having to bite through your tongue or wear headphones to block out the input in most places.

I gladly solicit advice, but I dont cave in to sales pitches and other nonsense. Sadly, trying to correct the behavior usually results in issues that I'd rather avoid. Smile, nod, say thank you, and then laugh like hell all the way home. If some things didn't weigh so damn much, or if I didn't find myself needing certain items in short order, I doubt I'd set foot in most storefronts just to not have to see it all happen.

I like the stakes for your finals support. Should beat the daylights out of a single may pole.

Still refresh lurking and crossing my fingers on your mite battle. I had thought you'd used a preventative. Next year neem them for sure.

Next thing you need is your own clean room approach just to go in and out of the house. I dont have any good suggestions not already covered more than likely on preventative measures with the drying area being attached. A temporary shed was the best I thought of so far ... problematic, security unfavorable, and potentially costly. Still wishing you the best though.

The 8 ft stakes are working great. I ran a rope around the poles looping around each stake. I will be adding some more nylon screen woven into like spider webs at a few different hiegths.
As fas the mites go, I sprayed the plant protector with coco wet on the mango and bd last night while spraying the other 3 with more azamax. I looked for a good 30 minutes tonight and didn't find any moving. I will treat all 5 tomorrow with sucra shield and then start over in three more days.
Thanks for the ideas on where to trim and dry. I really don't know what I will do yet.

Couldn't you cover your plants with black bags and fill those with CO2 like you do indoors?
I suppose I could, but that wouldn't kill the bugs around the pots and on the medium. Still not a bad idea if the current treatment regime doesn't work. The azamax seems to be working well and the plants don't look like the mind the heavy treatments. I have sprayed three times in 7 days, twice witht he azamax, once with sucra sheild and twice with plant protector. It seems to be keeping the little bastards in check. I will be hitting them again tonight with sucra sheild and BT.
I fed the mango with molasses and water this morning, the rest got the full nutrient plan. I am figuring the mango has maybe two weeks left ( give or take a few days) so decided to stop feeding nutes. She is so sticky and smells like tropical fruit salad. I am still getting a lot of lower leaf yellowing on the chem dog, and the Super bud. I gave all the girls a dose of cal/mag with their food too.

Here are a few pictures of the mango I took this morning. Not sure if you can tell in the cloe up or not, but the trichs are getting cloudy.

Freakin gorgeous! I can't wait to see the finished product :D

Also, you could tie the bag over the 100 gal pots you have there as well if its the pests in the medium you're worried about

theyre really starting to fill out....congrats:)
Thanks brotha

They are going to be FATTY! How far into flowering is this anyway?
The Mango and Blue Dream have been flowering for 8 weeks, the super bud about 4 weeks, and the chem D and Kimo Blackberry about 10 days. I have started flushing the mango with water and molasses and will start the bd flush in a few days. It is hard to tell since this is my first outdoor venture, but I am thinking the mango has about 10-14 days left and the bd is right behind her. Trichomes on the mango are milk.

I for sure don't know your mango strain but from the looks I would have guessed more than two more weeks if it was my plant... Is is not a very heavy yeilding plant?

Looks delicious by the way.. Im not trying to knock it by asking about the low yield.

The mango is a medium yielder I guess I would say. I have only grown it indoors and it did ok, not a huge yeilder though. I got a 3-4 ounces a plant indoors compared to my pk indoors that I get 2-3 ounces a plant and the Orange Crush D that I get 4-5 ounces a plant.

Yea it should be cool to harvest in stages. No shooting powder outside.
how come? Im going to try it. I remember you saying you lacked a little density in your last harvest and you thought it was due to not using the shooting powder so I figured I HAD to use it on my outdoor ladies haha

Cool! This schedule should help your hands cramp less by spreading out the trimming stages for each plant :)

Looks like a growers dream

To be honest man, I went into this trying to have an organic grow and thought I would just use the teas. But they started looking a little deficient so started some nutes. I am using overdrive by an instead of the shooting powder, but maybe I will give the SP to a couple of the later finishes. I don't know man I got a whole mixture of nutes going on. Botanicare pro bloom and karma, AN big bud and overdrive, yellow bottle bloom phat and ooze.

For sure man. I would like to say I planned it that way.

Haha you do have quite the cocktail going on. I just had some leftover from my indoor batch that I wanted to try outdoor. I was thinking about it though, and what do you think about using the SP earlier in bloom around week 3, 4 and 5? Cuz at week 6 it has the plant pushing new sets of calyxes and pistils so maybe itd make them bulk out even faster if you used it earlier in bloom. just high and had the wheels turnin :eyesmoke:
