Nice! Welcome aboard fellas, good to see ya! This was getting to be kinda lonely work. 
Yeah, that blue dream is some tasty stuff. Hadn't seen any in a while, so that was a treat.
Took a few more clones today, so as to preserve a couple of the strains I've got. I took cuttings off the Mendo Purps and the Sour Grape, which for the curious connoissieur is Sour Diesel x Purple Elephant... never smoked elephant, but it has a cool name... I'm thinking pink elephants in Dumbo. Like this guy here...
Blam! Being married is cool, cuz you can have stuff like this and not be embarassed. Anyway, I took 3 clones off of each, and out of each set of 3 the strongest will stay in veg as a mama plant. Purps is very popular these days in Cali (I hear gangster kids are paying top dollar for any kind of purple weed, some kinda status thing) so it stays as a commercial strain, and the SG stays cuz it sounds like some good smoke. When I say commercial I mean that I'm looking to provide meds to local dispensaries. I'm too old to be hustling. I also took 3 more cuts from the top of my OG mama plant, to keep the height down. No more spots in the cloner, so all 9 cuttings went into the tray. I'm using a 60 watt bulb to warm the clone tray at the moment, thinking I need one of those heat mats. Anybody have any ideas/experience with clones and heating?

I love my cloner. Simple as that. Only 1 clone showed any wilting after going in, and it knocked it off within 2 watering cycles. That thing is ruling it. My "old-fashioned" clones are doing well too, no wilting, no more rot, and the light bulb thing is working. I just thought back to raising chicks in an incubator. Same thing, just with baby plants. Here's a few pics.

JR and Casey look leggy as hell, due to an inefficient veg period, but as long as I get something off em I'm happy.

So today should be nice and busy. My perpetual set-up is oriented on harvesting every 2 weeks and we're 2 weeks in. So today we'll be transferring all the biggest girls from the veg room into the flower room, and we'll be inspecting the Blue Cheese clones to see if any are ready for planting yet. Should be fun! Pics tonight.

Yesterday marked 2 weeks since I moved the first set of plants into the flower room, which meant it was time they got some company. I put the bigger veg plants in the flower room and transplanted some clones to grow bags so they could move upstairs and start growing. I didn't go all out on these pics, there's a lot of yellow HPS shots, but I wasn't really shooting anything that cool anyway. Here's a look inside the flower room before the new girls moved in.

Here's the pop-up timer on my clones, letting me know they're done.

And at the end of the day we end up with nice, restocked grow areas. Can't wait till there's some harvesting to do on these days too. Oh yeah!
So there it is. The GDPs get 2 more weeks of veg time since they took so long to get going, and with a little luck the new clones will be ready by the same time. One thing I learned here-Take lots of clones, further ahead of time than you think. That whole 10-14 days thing is great when it works out, but I think it's better to be ready for adversity. I'd wanted to plant all 10 of my BC/Skunk clones, but only 6 were showing roots at the end of 2 weeks. Glad I got my cloner full of Jack the Ripper and OG. Those will have had 3 weeks of aero-cloning by next moving day, and the clones in my old-fashioned tray should be well rooted by then too. Should have some real nice options for cropping by then.
Other updates... for anyone interested, I started LSTing most of my rangier girls this week, but there's way better threads on how to do that so I didn't bother here. Maybe when I'm better at it. I also fimmed the GDPs, as I'm a firm believer in fimming, and I'll post pics when they start showing new growth sites. Until next time... smoke it if ya got it!

Thanks fellas! So far so good. I ran across a couple dozen seeds last night in an old bag of trimmings, thinking about germing a few. I've never had a lot of luck with seedlings, so anyone with a favorite method let me know. Strait into medium? Towel n transplant? I want to get a feel for this so I've got it down when I start ordering from the seedbanks. Don't want to kill $20 seeds.
wet paper towel in a little plate with one on top to form a little saucer and put it ontop of the stove for a few days, works like a charm. Or i do the wet paper towelk and stick it in a zip lock and on top of the stove or dryer.
