and is it better to put my seedlings in the shade rather then under my bulbs, or keep them in the hot sun....i dont think hot sun is good idea.......its about 87 out and 45% humidity today

A few hours of hot sun a day might actually be good for them. 87 is ok. Once you get above 90 then it becomes a bad idea.

Agreed, give them the UV rays the crave!!! Get some pics of them tanning.

should I water the seedlings using a spray bottle?......when do the seedlings need to be in nutrient rich soil?

The biggest thing to remember is to pre-wet your soil before planting. Not so its muddish but nice and moist. After planting seedlings you should only have to keep the top of the soil moist until they start to develop a hardy root system. For the first week of my seedlings growth I did nothing but use a spray bottle with a tiny bit of Superthrive in it to keep the first inch of soil around the growth moist. As long as your humidity levels aren't too low, it should stay fairly moist. I also highly advise not to put your seedlings into direct sunlight until they have sprouted their first set of true leaves. A mesh screen above or having them inside next to a window works beautifully.

Just my advice.. Hope the grow goes better this time around.

so when do you suggest i transplant them out of the keg cups.....some of them have there first true leaves, second set after there cotyledon.... I will take pics tom and show u guys how they are so far

id say go for it. you dont want the roots to clump up a lot on the bottom, which will start happening pretty soon.

ok there are deff bug problems...I see this silver haze sometimes white on some of my leaves, and I also saw something that looked like really small fly with clear wings.....I sprayed them down with Natria..........the shed I have them in in extremly old moldy and dirty i know I have to get them out of there but its the only place I have electric to rite now..

Sounds like your working on a lot of things. Try to focus your energy. You may need to take some time and work on your growing arrangements, you can't have bugs all over the plants. I recommend hot pepper wax by Bonide for a bug replant. I've only had to deal with spider mites and it worked the first time. Good luck and happy growing.

doktor doom or drown with co2 are some other effective methods. check undersides of leaves for anything suspicious. yellow speckles will appear on tops of leaves where mites have been; usually brown spots underneath. also this is where they lay their eggs and they reproduce FAST.
