Lookin spectacular man! That is gonna be some killer smoke. I am so envious that you are getting close and I am just starting. As for the organics in hydro, I am pulling the Bloom from my line up all together. I added it a few days ago and my reserviors are layed with slime already. I am so pissed, because now I have to drain and clean them. It is back to the H&G line only, I never had any issues with keeping the res clean until I started the Bloom. It would probably work well for soil or hand watering, but not for hydro. I might just use it fro my outdoor plants.
I wanted to ask your opinion on something. I know you did a lot of research on H&G and I have a lot of cocos A/B left that I want to use up, but I am going to switch to rockwool. I know the aqua flakes is what I should be using, but from what I understand the cocos just has extra cal/mag in it. Do you know if it would hurt anything to use up my cocos before buying the aqua flakes?

Hey bro, thanks for the kind words. Last round you were ahead of me and I was envious. LOL it is just back and forth mang.

I agree with the call on dropping everything and going back to your orig regimen.

I don't know all the differences between the coco and aqua flakes. I do know that the NPK ratios are almost identical, with N and K a tad bit higher in the flakes. As you said I would suspect the cocos to have a bit more ca.

I am pretty sure you can use it with minor adjustment in cal-mag dosing, most likely decreasing the cal-mag a bit. Just keep a close eye on it, you should be able to adjust the problems quickly by balancing A and B along with the Cal-mag.

Also flakes are suggested over the cocos for recirc systems, even for coco as the medium.

Looking forward to seeing you run RW, really want to get your final input and see which medium you like more.

I was gifted a strain today, it is called "Sweet Pea"
. Apparently it is a very nice sweet sativa hybrid. I couldn't find any info on this, if anyone can chime in on this it would be greatly appreciated.

I also spotted the clone fairy today, she was carrying the Jupiter OG cut, she baaaack.

Cannot wait for this harvest.

Here is one of my fav tracks at the moment, called "Patience" by Damien Marley ft. Nas. I forgot who it was that introduced us to this track, I think may be it was Big Dizzle.

Even though you spent 5 minutes training her, she looks like a well trained Thoroughbred right there bender.
Just a bit of practice, and the strain being a vigorous grower, helps a lot. It would take me a long time to get my grapefruit haze like that. It doesn't stretch during veg or bloom.

Hey Bender, thanks for the long detailed response... I did get a chance to go over it and I pretty much agree with your thoughts on everything.

As for as the scrog thing... I have been swearing by training the plants by the tie down method for years... I usually just drill a bunch of holes in my pots and use the twisty tie to train them down... once the get bigger I add some stakes to tie them to.
Just recently (in the last year or two) I have abandoned the tie down method. Now I just use a larger number of plants placed closer together and still I top them but I dont tie them down anymore. -My colas usually got bigger when I tied them down but it takes up more sq. ft., and I can get the same weight by just adding more plants.

Also wanted to let you know that the ratios on the H&G products are not correct and I would be very careful using the Top Booster for very long considering we dont know the actual ratios.... The rep I spoke to in person couldnt even tell me what the real ratios were, but he did say that using the top booster for more then a week would likely "burn the shit out of your plants" ... this is all new info to me so I thought I should pass it along... I should also mention that he didnt seem like he knew all that much imo, so it is possible that his advise isnt all that accurate but I do believe him when he says the "all the H&G labels have the wrong NPK ratios and to completely ignore the labels on their products"

You welcome bro. It is great to have to know that we are on the same page a lot of different issues. I guess I am not a true scrog guy I did the tie down method for a while, as it seems to be faster.

If I could I would do a full on SOG, where every cola is the main cola. My yield with bending has been great, but it is really hard to get all main colas on one plant, no matter how much bending or lollipopping I do.

I know there are no plant limits, but i am just paranoid. I won't go full on SOG next round, but I plan on decreasing the plant size and add another plant or two.

I want to remain perpetual but I also want to smoke everything before I bloom the next round. I guess I will just go by the way the girls look. Grapefruit haze and Grape Romulan have made it to my list for next round if I just base it on looks and smell.

I will keep a CJ, Chem D mother around. From CJ I might just take a round off just to have variety and Chem D I will save until I find out how good the smoke really is.

Thanks for the info on H&G. I will keep it in mind.

Raiderfan, please confirm with me that you read this info, so disregard my comments on the ratios of H&G.

I really wonder what the npk of the cocos is, may be a bit less k and and a bit more p.
