I hate to be the one bringing it up, but how about that oil leak thing! 6 weeks in counting and its been gushing, they said it could possibly go on all summer, that unless it is plugged or something, it could leak for decades. And now its hurricane season..so hurricanes with and oil spill equals...bad lol

ive boycotted BP and im planning to protest at a local one. BP executives are CRIMINALS and guilty of the crime of murdering the earth. its SO BAD what they are doing and being allowed to do(or not do). how many attempts to stem the flow is it going to take before they actually stop it? how many turtles fish and birds will die from this? how long will it take to effect me and my ecosystem?

we dont seem to mind that we are fucking our planet up more and more each passing day. we need to care for this planet; even in the endless depths of space its rare to find a planet so perfect for hosting life, but we take it for granted

This whole thing is a complete disaster, almost to the point that u think BP was doing nothing on purpose. I mean, given the amount of oil that is leaking into the ocean everyday, and the very serious and adverse effects this could have on the planet, you would think that the government and BP would be working together, at the site, trying to plug that oil up 24/7 until it was plugged. But no, they say this oil deposit could leak for another six weeks. SIX WEEKS OF OIL LEAKAGE AND NO ONE EVEN ATTEMPTING TO PLUG, THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE DONT SEEM VERY CONCERNED.
