I am not a big fan of giving your plants a dark time to finish, it is just that I have not had good results from that method. Watch your humidity big time if you do that...You don't want mold! I would say at least 4oz, maybe, up to 6. I don't have alot of experience with judging from pictures yet.. Man, I would just stick to your regular schedule while they finish, personally I would give them 13 hours of light with the lights raised up abit...But that is just me..I don't claim to know shit! But I know how nice it is to hear other peoples ways...so there ya go! I hope you find a way that works well for you! GL, and nice work..

Man I would have a hard time keeping my sheers away from that plant! Lookin great WM, by the looks of those nugs, you have just a few more days until they are fully ripe! How are the lower buds looking? Have you thought about taking the main cola, and letting the bottom ripen, and bulk up alittle? Is the funky smell that of a grassy odor?

Wierd but I was considering taking the bottom and letting the top colas ripen a bit. It seems it looks more ripe the farther it is from the light! # of orange hairs are increasing from bottom to top while Im flushing and the leaves are yellowing from top to bottom. I concluded that i will just hack it all down at once.

They say indoor plants finish from the bottom up, and outdoor opposite, but in my experience, it is strain dependent. I only take the main cola off a few different strains, usually I take the whole plant at once. Actually, to get more detailed, I go in and take all the shade leafs off while the plants are still alive in there pots, then the next day start harvesting. This helps in two ways, all the shade leafs go into a separate bag to dry. These get used for cooking. Then all the bud trim goes into another "brown paper bag" and that gets used to make oil. The second reason I do that is because I find that it makes trimming so much easier when you only have to trim the bud leafs. Some people say trimming your plant like that also puts it into overdrive so it pushes hard to produce resin during it last day....I don't know about that..But I like the process..Also some people like to not water there plant during its final days, and dry the medium out. I would think this technique would work well in high humidity areas, were mold is a concern, but, some people even say this helps to make the plant go into overdrive also....To each his own I guess. Like I said, I just think my way makes the harvest run smoother... You have made many good decisions so far, so I am not worried that you will figure out what works for you..GL

Wow I didn't know trimming was such work! Its taking two days to finish trimming, I spent about 7 hours yesterday then I got high and said screw it. Got all the biggest nugs done though. the 4 top colas are all well over 150g each wet. yes!

Good work! That's just over an oz per cola... not bad for your first time. Have you got another crop on the go yet?

I separated the trim from the fan leafs. I was thinking honey oil with the trim since its so packed with trics, and cooking with the fan leafs. Do you think fan leaves have any potency to cook with?
