need an electrician for ? on running 240v

I said I'm still learning the game but I played APA one season.
I had a backpack I was keeping a pretty close eye on that day, I put it next to the wall and we played one last game so we didn't leave it a tie.
This was as people were leaving, right near the end after the clones were passed out.

Ok. So I'm working with this switch (the one in the off position) is there anyway to tell the amp rating on that switch? Ill only be pullin 4.5 atm so I know I'm good for now but in the future?

And here are the wires left. I believe the fan was 120v and the elements were 240v which mean there is already a neutral line correct? Wouldn't I need one being as my ballast can run either voltage or does it only need one since everything can run off the set voltage?

Basically I'm just wanting to double check that I am good to just hook one of an outlet similar to this one ( but not this one just a typical wall outlet only 2 plugs ) and go?

I don't know who it was then. There was a young guy playing a zztop looking guy when I challenged the table, but then I got handed off to this other guy who I thought was the ringer. Yes I'll probably be able to make it the 8th, we'll see if I can hold my own against you guys.

Those are strains I'm looking for. Most of my strains come from you guys, and I don't keep more than I'm running on hand. I don't have some big farm or something.

The only thing I have you guys probably don't is Joey Weeds Blueberry F2. Just a bit better than your normal blueberry and yields more.

I'll leave the electrical question to a pro... I don't know how those are wired now that you are showing it.

You could just take your camera to home depot or lowes and show it to those guys, or look up that heater online to see what all the connectons were, that's what I'd do.

The breaker is 20amp but that looks to me like two 110 breakers, so that's why I say I don't get it. Are those two connected?

yes, there is a neutral there if the fan was using 120v.... the fan should have been hooked to the dirty pair of aluminum #14awg wires there. if that was the case, that is a 120v 15amp circuit. the heavier, #12awg copper wires would be for the 20amp, 240amp circuit. what i would do in that situation, is get a 2-gang outlet box, a 240v 20 amp spec grade receptacle, a 120v 15 amp spec grade receptacle, and mount both outlets in the double gang box side by side, and share the ground wire for the 2 plugs. that way you would have a dedicated 240v line, and a dedicated 120v line, more than enough power for what you would put in the room....that 20amp 240v circuit alone can run up to 3840 watts of lighting, and the 15amp 120v is good for an additional 1440w, however in my professional opinion i would not run HID lights on the 120v line... save that for pumps, fans, timers, etc, and dedicate the 240v for lighting.


ps- make sure you relabel the panel for those breakers when your done

I'm not sure if the fan was using 120v as the only rating labeled on the heater that I see is 240v. There are 2 sets of wires and the ground (bare) wouldn't I need a neutral line as well for this to work or am I just worrying myself lol

One goes to the heater, turned it off to remove the heater without dying lol. And the other is to the dryer outlet (I don't yet own a dryer) so it was off since before I moved in.

No. I turned off the heater breaker and the fan stopped spinning and all and the lines are dead. But from the box I only see 2 wires and in the wall there is 5? Idk. Lol but the whole thing shut off with the flip of one switch which would imply to me it was all 240v. Would this mean I need to run a neutral line and if so how complicated is this? (Seems very simple)
