What's For Dinner Tonight?

I am in the mood for some Orange Roughy.. They taste similar to flounder and texture as well. I imagine the supermarkets in floriduh are always freshly stacked with them.
Yes, although they aren't native to our waters.... it is one of my fav fish to munch on.. My very fav is Swordfish... I have always loved it ... I was a picky eater when I was just a kid....drove my parents nuts....kind of blew them away when i tried Swordfish one day in a restaurant... I've been eating it ever since... such a taste!

What kinda dogs you have cj? I have a 11 month old American bulldog who weighs 95 lbs named Waylon, a 3 year old red nose pit female named Honey, and a 10 year old chihuahua named Tito. They are my best friends and they don't judge me for how much I eat as long as I share.
I also have three mutts. One is a chow mix (40lbs. 16 years old)we found abandoned in the back of our acreage, covered in ants and fit in my wife's palm. Number two is a Golden Retriever (60 lbs. 8 years old) we adopted as she was on her third home and having health issues...Took us two years and I don't even want to count how much $$$ to fix her back up to 100% (but always worth it), and the last one is a Chesapeake Retriever (100 lbs. 10 years old) who we adopted through a breed specific rescue league. We had to be interviewed to qualify to adopt her, as that breed is quite special and it takes a certain kind of owner to handle them...they are head strong and unlike the typical retriever reputation, can be aggressive. I had owned one long ago (found her abandoned as well) and once the folks showed up and saw my property and experience and my other dogs.... they told me right off, it was then simply a formality of doing the paperwork. Once the Chessie decides you are the Alpha however.... they mind their manners... but as my cousin found out.... only I can mess with her....she straightened him out quick when he got tipsy and tried to take her bone like I do. CHRIST!!! Your dog bit me!!! I warned him though...but he was drunk. If I wasn't there...who knows how badly she would have torn him a new one !!

mutton chops roast veg n new potatoes tonight, cant wait, my stomach thinks my throat has been cut!
It's been ages since I've had Mutton... i didn't care for it, but perhaps it wasn't prepared correctly. i do love lamb however. New zealand lamb chops are fantastic IMO.

It would not let me see your pics. It's not an am staff just a American pit bull terrier but I love the am staffs. I used to have a neo mastiff which is native to Italy. He was 150lbs and they are rare. I'll try and dig up some pics later
Here is a nice picture of one.. they have all the characteristics that a pit lover would want plus extra body weight and larger snout! http://puppydogweb.com/gallery/dogoargentinos/dogoargentino_krajinova.jpg

This is the next species on my list to catch this coming fall when i take a 2 day trip charter into " No-Mans" canyon. We normally target Tuna and Tilefish when the sun breaks through but given you have the proper rigging swordfish hangout in the same areas aswell, Unless sharks are around,,, that's when we have to move the boat!!

Never!! That is a big no no with fish. the minute we get them on the boat we gut/decapitate & pack with ice, It never leaves the cooler until we dock ,, within 2 hours i sell most of my fish to little shops and Japanese sushi bars.. A fair price on tuna/SF is 4/8 dollars per pound, Depending on how high fat content the fish contains.. Higher the fat, more money it's worth..

Besides the Chessie which is my fav pure breed...the best dog I have ever owned was half Rottie and Doberman (another abandoned dog...sensing a pattern?)

Smart as a whip, sneaky like the Viet Cong, loyal, huge chest and super fast and NO FEAR.

We had neighbors across one of our fence lines and they owned two BIG German Shepherds...who thought they were BAD. I had my Rottie/Dobie and another different Chessie who was fairly mild as I had spoiled her. These German Shepards were going insane on the fence line intimidating my Chessie. The RotDob saw this and calmy walked straight over to them...stuck her head through the fence and simply dared them to approach.... they did not not know what to do!!! Never had those dogs on that fence line again. That dog had massive balls...and was a female to boot. You want some?? Come and get some!!! My motto as well....

chineseeeee, bit of pork and mushrooms and crispy shredded beef :) phoned em up first time and hung up immediately as a friend said he wanted somehting, so phoned a second time, when we went in blazed as you like, they started complaining about the 10p the phone back had cost them :P it was a bit much for me and my poker face, might have giggled slightly, in an out of control off handish manner.

i know lots of you are fishermen and hunters, how do you guys get your things like mackerel tuna sardines, cod etc? (and might as well say fuck it and enquire about meats as well) do you guys have farm shops and such or is it provide for the family or settle for supermarket?

Tuna sushi is the BOMB!!!

yah TGSS ... if a dog exudes confidence....the pack rules dictate respect. We always have dogs roaming around out here...but no one crosses my fence line. I miss that dog...she's been gone three years now.... I'll admit it freely.... I cried like a dang baby when she passed. like a baby.... I still get misty over her.

I had a Dobie take a chunk out of my forehead when i was a little Runt!! I cried like a bitch and I still wonder what made him do it. I knew the dog his whole life and he never reacted towards me with any hostility.. It was a freak accident, i just wonder what he was thinking from time to time.

get my tuna, from a bumblebee.. in a can..

i cant fish/hunt.. but i can grow
Nothing wrong with that brother,, It's just when you live near water and have a itch for fishing, it gets to be a very consuming sport.. I enjoy every time i hit the water, but in the same token i take it as serious as i take my weed.:-P
