Autoflower Thread & Resource Guide

I have a bunch of autos just starting but my snowriders that are only a week or two older are huge and the rest still look like seedlings. I just put 8 of em, La Divas, Russian Rocket Fuel and a short mix from attitude....I like em cuz the males show their nuts as seedlings. I had a regular plant grow one set of nuts but Idk why cuz light leaks would have hit a different plant and that one was fine. Thankfully it was my best plant cuz I tried to pollenate a couple lower nugs and was confused as to why there were seeds in buds I didn't seed, just one or two but still....so I will have seeds of(Royal dayne x baby breath freak) x white widow, (RD X BBF) x ny diesel and (RD x BBF) x (ny diesel x white widdow) and (RD x BBF) x (RD x BBF) so I will have some great seeds next round...though I had wanted to pollenate one with an auto too, maybe I will cross my fruity smelling widdow with my best auto male, so far I have 2 and one clone to pollenate for seed...though the bud tastes so good I almost don't want to seed it but since I can't get anymore of the specific seeds genetics I think I don't want to chance losing it cuz it smells the best of all my plants even though the buds are a lil smaller than the rest...

Not to get into anyone else's conversation :blsmoke: I would start to feed as soon as possible without doing damage to the plant. No matter what soil I was growing in. That way they can take in the maximum possible, and grow the best that they can. I started feeding my autos compost tea after week one, its day 13 now, they are doing very well branches are just starting, they have 3, and five finger leaves now, the fives just came up and more coming out now, hopefully 7's. Not bad for only 13 hours of daylight outdoors at this point in the year. And the plants cant get all of that unfortunately. I fed them what I would call a medium strength tea the first time. Yesterday I fed them a strong one, and they seemed to love both. I think the soil could have fed them enough to keep them going at a healthy rate for a few weeks, but not at their maximum potential. So if I wanted to, I could only be watering them, and it really wouldnt hurt. I would say its when they start to flower is when they really start to need something extra. Before hand is more or less optional, depending on the soil you are using. But as long as the plant is healthy and produces the way its supposed to then the method being used is a good one.bongsmilie

great info there^^^ everyone says dont give em anything for 2-4wks, but I say what ever works for you go for it...I did...I started in MG seedstarter/MG sphguam peat moss 50/50 mix and started on day 5<maybe a lil too soon, next time i'll wait till day 7..anywayz, gave em' voodoo juice, phrana, tarantula, superthrive, and B-52< all vitamins & root supp. not fert. < 2 of them did get a lil yellowing/twisted/curling leaves, but that came from my PH being to acidic, so I adjusted with D. lime...right now they are 27 days old in 3 gal bags and all leaves are green and healthy..last feeding was 4/7< jus PH water with some NO shock & Revive+ by advance nutrients, next feeding is this evening...Voodoo Juice, Phirana, Tarantula, GrowBig, Bigbloom, B-52, Molasses, AN connosiuer A & B, Open sesame, and Cal-Mag.....

Never checked the ppms when feeding, only when flushing, so I know where Im starting and how much I need to flush. I would imagine you are talking about total disolved solids.

really, well i just wondering, i personaly check it every time and set it at what i want. ok another question is every one useing soil or hydro. im in soil, ff.. ocean forest. witch is already kinda hot in nutes, to start. reason im asking is, as i water each week, in witch is 3 times a week. one nutes, and two straight tap. ph adjusted at 6.3- 64 . so when i finnish a flowering plant, and flushing, and my waters is up to 1800, or higher, on flushing now, nutes start at 400ppm buy the time they finnish flowering at 900. and run off is that high. it just seems to me that is border line over nute. that the plant is leaving nutes, that is not need , so it build. and then you get WHAT nute lock. just wondering ?

I just ordered 1 Blueberry Ryder, 1 Auto AK47, 1 Snowryder, and 1 Afghan Kush Ryder seeds from World of Seeds. I have a General Hydroponics Waterfarms system i am hoping to germinate them and get them going in there. Can't wait to see how everything turns out. I will keep everyone posted.

Sup all a lil update I finally chopped her down last week. I would of waited even longer but had to leave for some days not really sure of my return so I chopped her at 93 days...yeah it's long but I was waiting for the trichs to get amber so all up to this point I still didnt get 10% amber...I dont think so. had more amber on the yellowing leaves..and had some buds yellowing and amber trichs on them.So I chopped her afraid of coming back from a lil trip and seeing all the buds yellow or something... first pic is her before the chopping block..then the main cola.. and then 2 pics of the immature bottom buds I left on to see if they would grow some...and they have so all good ..whatcha think....:weed:

they are indeed the shiz my friend, super low maintenance & solid results. Have yo drilled extra holes in the bottom? If not, I would suggest doing so, they don't have nearly enough openings for the roots to dingle dangle. Just be sure not to make them bigger than ur medium obv. Good to throw an extra h20 stone in the bottom two to get the dual drip & dwc action goin.

Usin one right now actually & shes kickin ars. Super easy maintenance. Are you puttin all those strains u named in there @ once?

Anyway, good luck & post up some pics.:bigjoint:

ok guys quick question on Autoflowerers .. or a couple .... 1. Smallest recommendable pot size 2. whether to use nutes in a rich soil blend 3. do they like more N, P, or K for their life cycle
