Jimmy not much a fan of the AFL. I watch the highlights and know Geelong was kicking arse for some time but thats it. Yeah have moved on to killing the Rhino now. I am so worried about overwatering them i dont water enough and have hit my second bout of underwatering which caused them to droop. I will pick up my game. The Rangess outside is still pretty dismal. The buds just arent filling out but its in the sun now so hopefully a couple of weeks of that may increase the size a little.

Hi Kmoo. Yes just handwatering the Rhino. I keep reading to let the pots dry out but when i scrape away the top inch or so it looks moist. Fuck it they are getting loads of the juice from now on.

Yeah i underwatered a few weeks back too which was pointed out to me by someone much more intelligent than i. Not as bad this time but still not good. I just had a knock at the door and my pH pen has arrived. Its not a very expensive one but i heard that rhizotonic sends pH way up so i thought it may be beneficial for me to know what i am feeding with. There are two solutions that it comes with so i can hopefully calibrate it.

Can anyone shed any light on how to look after them? I read somewhere that you need to leave it submerged in water when not in use. Is this BS? My head still hurts from last night.

Rhizotonic doesn't throw the PPM and I've never had it affect my pH levels.... My tap water here is way akaline, way up there.... No don't leave your pen in water.... Just leave it in its cover or case, take it out when you need it, calibrate it, (the hydroshop does mine) every six to twelve months....

Rhizo does very little to the EC or PPM... Who told you that????

No not the ppm or the EC. The pH is what i mentioned. I just did a test and my tap water has a pH of 7.8 and i also did a test on 500ml of tap water with 1ml of rhizotonic added to it and its pH is 9.7 so it must send it up. I am talking sense arent i?
