germinate or put strait in soil?

When I first started, i tried the paper towel method and had success with it but then I read a thread on here (cant find a link sorry) talking in detail about marijuana seeds and how germinating was unnecessary so I tried planting directly in the soil. My success rate has been the same with both methods, but planting directly in soil actually shaved a day off the process on average.

This is my exact same story. Go with straight in soil. Cover the cups or whatever with saran wrap with a rubber band around it and the cup. Just like this picture but with your seed and soil and a Non clear container.
