Man I'm impressed by this grow every other day that you post pics fantastic job. So if you think yo might finally be done tweaking ur system (sure ur not lol we never really are) how much has this set up cost you so far? I read somewhere once that once you start growing MJ u either go pro or give up the hobby lol guess it didnt take into account people that go pro almost from the gate!
So far D83 i have been keeping the cost of everything in my personal diary. And i can tell you its not been cheaply done. I have spent close to £2500 probably around $3,800 +. Yeah its a lot of money but the way i see it is, You have to speculate to accumilate. I will be taking some of the crop for myself and my brothers. And the rest will be sold in 1 go to a good friend in the trade.

And because of this i want my shit to be exactly that. ( the shit ), and as always i never work in half's.

And if i get enough from this crop im going to invest in 2 of the Northern lights Bloom boxes. A producer and The bloom box with the cloning and mother station. This then will mean i can have my room back and put the boxes discreetly in the attic......

Man Im red eyed to shit!!!!!!! peace bro.:leaf:

p.s I'll be updating most day's and firing the pic's on here as and when i can...

Hi everyone, thanks for all the comments. well its time for another update.

Its day 9 of 12/12 and the flowers are really starting to show from the nodes. they have grown another 2-3 inch and most are now standing at around 24-25 inch. They are all doing really well with the new space i gave them. Im just about to start with the Co2 as i have my new regulator. Its a unis reg and its magic....lol just got to sort out the timers of the fan's and Im a go!!! I'll be posting pics of it in the next few days so ya can see what it look's like. Oh and i will be posting some more pics of the Intake fan i made from the 12" fan. and also the extra exhaust.

Anyway i took a good few pics of the Lady's in the room and some of the developing flowers. Hope you like!!!!!:cool::cool:

Hi everyone. I have come in to my first problem i think. when the room go's in to darkness the RH rises to 90% how can i bring this down. is there anything i have to get to bring it dow.

Night time temps are around 16C 60F. i just cant understand why the RH is rising so much. Im worried that it might cause mold. I mean i have my exhaust on all the time at night. I can only assume that when the lights turn off the humidity rises but does not exit the room through the filter.

Any help on this issue would be great......

you could invest in a humidistat to control your fan speed. i.e. goes full blast when humidity hits a certain high setting and pulls it back to 40% RH.

i rigged one up, wasn't impressed with the humidity settings as they didn't correspond to my other hydrometers, so it was trial an error but it worked.

but this is strange that the humidity rises when the lights are out, hopefully someone whos had a setup as large as yours will nail it for you. heres hoping

Ok so i just bought a dehumidifier. Its not going to turn up for a few days, but i think it should be ok until then. Im venting the room at night and keeping an eye on the RH and temp. I will work it out im sure. thanks for the help on things guy's. Any other info would be appreciated.

I think your on the right road with the dehumidifier. Your RH will be high because your temps are in the higher range. Use your dehumidifier and you may see a temperature drop as well.

Also...
The h2o that the dehumidifier catches is great clean water. Use it to your advantage!

Hey jeff thanks for the info bro.

I just cant get my head around why the RH rises so much at night.... Its at a steady 50-55% during the light period. Im thinking that when the lights are on that the heat is drying the moisture in the air and when the lights are off the moisture sinks down and stays around the plants.

Anyway Im hoping the dehumidifier will sort this out. Soon as it arrives i will install it and do some testing. I'll let everyone know what the out come is.

Wow, took me like an hour and half to go through your grow journal. Looks great. I have a much smaller grow room, but my girls are about the same cycle as yours (meaning, they are about 9 days into flowering). Ill keep up with your grow.

Heating the air makes the RH drop. Gas heat tends to make less of an impact because it is a "wetter" kind of heat. If your a chef that likes to bake, don't get a gas oven because the heat will be too wet for baking consistent confections. If you like to cook meats on the other hand, then gas ovens are the way to go.

A co2 burner will give off more moisture because of the gas where as your lights are electrical, heating the air with dry heat.

You are on the correct path again!
