meh, I could care less about what keeps the vapor back. either my thumb or something I rig up, it's still not worth 5-600 dollars to me . . . . .

and I think that's a reasonable thing for atleast 80% of the people out there buying vapes. I mean common, how many people who use this shit medically REALLY have the money to pay for a fuckin volcano? ridiculous.

any good reason why you have to pay 500-600 dollars on a vape that is virtually indifferent from the herbalaire at 250?

I highly doubt you have one.
It doesn't matter if I have or haven't got one, I have used a range of vaporisers, Volcano being the best, why would I want to buy one that isn't a volcano. You get what you pay for.

Do you work for herbalaire, you're putting me off them

:finger: paying that much money for something that comes on my $0.50 water bottle ;)

I already have a cap for mine, and it does the same thing

:bigjoint:

You're thinking of the ez-valve kit, I'm talking Solid valve botha . . .

The ez-valve sucks:-P

You can take the solid valve kit apart to clean it all out and replace the screens. The solid valves also let you make as big a vapor bag as you want.

Bit more engineered than your water bottle cap . . .

so do you truly believe that solid valve system took 120+ dollars to build?

for real.

not is it WORTH 120, do you think that it truly took 120 dollars to BUILD that solid valve system.

I highly doubt it.

Like I said many posts ago, your not going to win with this guy. He openly admits the volcano is NOT worth the money, but refuses to believe anything is better ;)

I dont have to pay extra to be able to take apart my pieces, and screens to clean them. In fact, not only is it easy to do, but Herbalaire actually gives you an extra tube that fits all the pieces in, so you can add salt and alcohol, and shake away. does the volcano give you that kind of convenience? We wont even go into portability, or counterspace taken, because the herbalaire dominates the volcano in both of those aspects. Also, from the get-go, you can make bags of any size with the equipment given by herbalaire.

Like I said before, unless you got $500 laying around to waste on something you personally prefer, despite it being over-priced, then the volcano should NOT the vapo choice for most users, especially if your even considering a vaporizer for conservation of your herb, because the volcano DEFINATLY wont conserve shit, lol. Also, to your "poll" your getting votes on it by people who like the volcano, not people who own it ;) Maybe your poll should have said "what vaporizer do you own?" and then get people opinions ;)

Can anyone in here actually say they have owned both units to actually bring some real opinions to the table? Im tired of this biased riff-raff

Good debating, cheers guys bongsmilie

Well I dunno mang the polls kind of speak for themselves

I told you I've tried the Herbalaire and the volcano is badass. I design and build things for a living and I really respect the engineering and thought put into EVERY single piece of the volcano. It is an incredibly well designed vaporizer.

Your Herbalaire is a Honda the Volcano is a BMW bottom line. I'm not saying that the Hebalaire is bad just saying there is other better stuff. :peace:

Dude, I love my volcano, the money you pay for is the engineering involved, the thing is absolutely perfect. I do not regret spending the $650 on it (solid valve, digital)

And yeah, I can pop off my solid valve, and have it completely dis-assembled in less than a minute. After that I toss it in a cup filled with alcohol, and it just sits in there, no salt required, then I take it out and q-tip it to rub off the resin...

The thing I love is you only need to remember 3 parts, the volcano, the bag (with mouthpiece attached) and the bowl (or chamber)

I have all that shit, including herb, grinder, herb's mason jar, on a 2.5ft x 2.5ft table...

I plug it in and it heats up in minutes, I take .1 and grind it up and throw it in the volcano, a bag later I'm high as fuck and cant remember how many bowls I did... Then I forget about the volcano and 20 minutes later it shuts itself off... The bag system itself is great, not a drop wasted, ill fuck around on RIU with a bag next to me and puff on it for a half hour getting baked all smooth like...

No problems yet, I have no complaints with it, I take it with me to friends houses too.

With all the bullshit we have today, internet, computers, cell phones. I find my phone is freezing, my computer crashes a vital program, the internet is spotty and I need to wait on customer service to tell me that IM WRONG AND MY INTERNET IS FINE (even though it isnt).

I'm just glad that whatever happens: The car breaks down, the computer sets on fire, my ipod breaks, whatever... The Volcano will be there, to get me high and to help me forget about my problems, EVERY. FUCKING. TIME.

Well I dunno mang the polls kind of speak for themselves

I told you I've tried the Herbalaire

Lets start with these statements. Again, your poll is fucking retarded, and just because people click volcano, doesent mean its better, or even that they own one, they just saw it on a pot movie and think its badass. I mean, for fucks sake, 5 people voted for the Vapir One, and that thing is absolute trash.

So, lets talk about when you tried the herbalaire. Did you own it? Just borrow it for a day? Use it one time? just because someone used something a few times doesent mean anything man, you should know that. Also just wondering how long ago you first tried the herbalaire, for shits and giggles. also, I bet you grinded your herb and didnt use the herbalaire, because it sounds like to me you went to a buddies house who was, for lack of a better word, idiot.

I design and build things for a living and I really respect the engineering and thought put into EVERY single piece of the volcano. It is an incredibly well designed vaporizer.
LOL, so you have taken both of them completely apart yes? I didnt think so. you know nothing of the herbalaire besides the few times it sounds like you used it. If you wish to prove me wrong, id like a description of what the insides look like, because I have one open right in front of me ;)

I just dont understand where you assume that herbalaires pieces are somehow inferior to the volcanos. Is it the price? Does it hurt a little inside knowing you spent that much money? Get over it. I did.

Your Herbalaire is a Honda the Volcano is a BMW bottom line. I'm not saying that the Hebalaire is bad just saying there is other better stuff. :peace:
You may work on shit for a living, but it sure as hell isnt cars. You must have bought a BMW, since you referenced it a few times. I sure hope it isnt anything designed by a man named ken, because he drew all the new bmw's (5 and 7 series i think)and their ugly as fuck. ANYWAY, my point? BMW's arent better than honda because of the price, again your mistaken.

Lets talk about the real life BMW and Honda, since you made the comparison. BMW was founded in 1916, and as of 2008, their Profeit was 438 Millon dollars. Impressive.

Now, honda. Honda was founded in 1948, right after a major world war. Want to know their 2008 profeit? 1.39 Billion Dollars. so in half the time, a company was founded, and they created products with a known reputation for quality, especially for the price. So, back to the debate. Are you going to continue to really tell me a company cant be established, improved on a already existent product, and outsell its competitor?

If so, I am seriously done with this debate. Im not looking for you to say "OK man, the herbalaire is better than the volcano." What im looking for is for people to be a little more open minded, and stop assuming something is truly the best based upon media attention, and peoples opinions which really dont matter(Those who really dont own the unit and cant really talk about it). Im not talk about you here NG, just the mass majority.

As Ive said in the past, if your buying a vaporizer based upon price, efficiency, portability, and convenience, you would be an idiot to pass up the Herbalaire. If you are ready to make a investment, on a quality unit to sit at your house, and provide you and your loved ones with great vapor, the volcano is for you ;)

Keep medicating

Everything you just said can be done with the herbalaire, but Like I said, I dont have to q-tip shit. You also really dont need the salt, but it always helps, maybe you should try it, and stop rubbing cotton on your pieces that you put hot air though. Bad idea brother, i definatly wouldent continue doing that.

The thing I love is you only need to remember 3 parts, the volcano, the bag (with mouthpiece attached) and the bowl (or chamber)

Well, this is the thing, you have a what, 2 year warranty? And when you do call in, who are you going to talk to? Probably some punk kid named hanz with broken ass english. Like I said, when i called Herbalaire, the president of the company answered the phone himself. If you go to their website, he actually does the video himself showing the efficiency of the unit. If your argument is the warranty, the herbalaire is 3 years warranty on the entire unit. Thats a year MORE than your vape, at 1/3 of the price.

No worries, like I said before the volcano is a great unit, and I dont want you to think im trying to make you feel back for spending that much money, just trying to help those who want a quality bag/whip combo vape, without spending a stupid amount of money.

Cheers

I'm relatively new to vaping so I tried one of the cheap ebay models that broke quickly...although it DID provide enough insight for me to go another step and buy a hot box....and a magic flight launch box.....I use the hot box at home and the MF launch box on the go....both are very efficient and provide the high I like .....and I've probably cut my usage by 2/3....

When my piggy bank gets a little fuller, I'll probably invest in one of the more expensive ones but so far, the HD and the MFLB are doing great and have just about paid for themselves in savings..........
