I chose 250 because of heat, electric to run it and cool it, and I am only growing as a hobby and free smoke. If you have the means for a 400 then go for it. I almost did but I am glad I didn't because the heat with just the 250 is alot for my little tent. I am in Florida and it tends to get hot down here.

Thanks and good luck to you too. I do not think I will use the AG again to grow ganja. Maybe the seeds it was meant for.

Nice man, they're a very nice plant. Have you seen the finished product yet? They are impressive. I was really hoping for some that is why I haven't given up yet. Good luck to you and yours. Post some pics when they're done.

hahaha yea that would be one way of lookin at it! i think im just gunna stick wit the 250w for starters and who knows maybe upgrade down the line. god i cant fuckin wait for my tax return!!! hahaha :bigjoint:

I started under cfls and once I switched to hps, WOW. Huge difference. I am glad I got it.I figure 2 finished plants will pay for almost everything. I am not gonna sell it but considering what you pay for good bud. After a couple ounces it payed for itself. Lets see:
tent $88
carbon filter and fan $200
light $120
AG $150 got it for herbs but then discovered I could grow Herb.
seeds $40+
nutes $30
other crap $50ish
under $600 and I have blown more on less. Like my ps3 and all my games that have been sitting for almost 2 years. lol
growing your own weed and knowing where it comes from is priceless

i was thinkin about it but i just have to wait 2 weeks and then im set plus im gunna be movin pretty soon here so ill just be patient lol

I checked on the seeds I have germing. The blue mystic has a nice taproot now. It is in a jiffy pellet and I am hoping to see leaves soon.

Try www.dchydro.com . I have been hearing bad things about htgsupply lately. I always heard good before. Not lately though.
You can also get some good deals on ebay.
