Sorry everyone, Buttery 420 saw my patriotic post on Australia day and that's what started it all... The funny thing is, if he doesn't like Australia for what it has become then he can exercise that other great Australian right, and that is the right to leave this country...

This is a highly unmoderater site and the web is filled with alter egos and trolls, it's just something to get used to. There are definite down sides to highly moderated sites too.

Really though 90%+ of questions that get asked have been answered before, so people will often jerk your chain in response to things they a) don't understand or b) understand very well... That's how I see it anyways. This website is more of a resource for me, I can search for most everything I need and rely on the forums best for more recent or complicated questions. I only really post in this and a couple of other threads, and do far more reading than anything else.

on a different subject, i was going to put my girls into flower tonight but since i have the two seelings i have decided to veg for another 2 weeks. i am thinking of topping my 2 clones again. they were topped at 3 weeks of a 5 week fluro veg and have had 2 weeks hps with another 2 weeks hps veg to go.

is it ok to top them now or not?

I agree that unmoderated sites are best as you get the truth but still doesnt excuse the shit some people feel the need to write. Wish i could dish out a few hum dingers. Knickers you commented on one of my past posts and yes it was rediculous growing conditions but i think i have improved it considerably. I see many other Aussies on this thread with very impressive grows so cant one of you give me some help. Please have a look at my journal and give some advice as i am reading a lot daily but personal feedback is what makes this site 'enjoyable'(still undetermined).

can you grow upside down? Meaning have light on floor and raise plant up,
i figured you dry buds upside down for what reason... If i can source another transformer I'll give it a go

Fanta just hang yourself from the ceiling and it would save you loads changing the entire setup. I cant see it being effective but then again i have seen people grow out of a shot glass. I guess anythings possible.

i dont think you can grow it that way but u can hang your plants upside down but u still have to have to light where it normally is and the plant wil turn around and grow up towards it.

Ive heard/seen of growin outdoor in upside down containers and it grows back up towards the sun (phototropism).

But i dont see y if the light was on the ground it wouldnt grow towards the light.? Probly missin sumthin very simple.

if you have it in a cupboard or a tent and it was the only light then i would simply go for the light.

It would work but every system has inherent flaws. Fluid will drip from the pot and this will land on your light... There are probably other issues I can't think of.

also will have hole in lid for watering, i'll be using coco (less chance of water drips) i'll get pics and do a bit of a journal
going with it too, i've only got bag seed but meh it's good to experiment i spose

you should put a piece of glass in betweem your light and plant. have it on a angle so that if there are any drips they run off. i would also have a container at the low end of the glass to catch any run off. good luck man. hope it works.
