You get the same result with LST - you can end up with as many as seven colas - usually, 2-3 are bigger than the rest, but it's definitely a better alternative to pruning (imo).

Dude, unless anyone else chimes in with a more convincing argument, and since I know lst does produce results like that i'm not going to top. And considering topping does set the growth back a few days i'm not going too. Actually, I may top 1 plant and leave the other 2 just to see the difference. 1 1/2 nodes till the decision. Captain and coke is my friend at the moment.

If they already only like 2-3" in away and ur not having probs I wouldn't worry since ur already at (pretty much) optimum position. Remember thinking about it to much may be more harmfull than doing somthing wrong, na mean bro? BTW, i love alcohol (I know this a weed forum..) You got a link to ur grow or pix? That would help me/us in helping u out bro. Thanx for posting in the thread and making me feel like a worthwhile contributor to the effort homie.

Wait til you hit your 5th node. It's easier to work with when they are a little taller while bending them over and moving things around. I even moved my cfl's like 4 inches away for a few days to allow them to stretch a little which helped a lot as well. Hope the advice helps!

Well I got around to getting some tap water treatment so that I'm not feeding the girls chlorine and whatnot, when I get paid i'll get the PH up and down, not enough funds at the moment Also put a fan in the closet to blow on the box and give some needed airflow in the closet. I also rotated all the pots, which I should have been doing this whole time anyways, lol, i will now be doing that at every watering. When I was rotating the middle plant I discovered to my amazment that she had a stow away in the pot with her, some kinda plant that I don't know what it is, I got the soil from the florist and they mix their own shit, a seed must have got in there on accident. The wife didn't want me to kill it so we put it in a dixie cup and are keeping it in the box. Hopefully it'll live, if not you can't say we didn't try. Anyways on with the pix.

LOL, that'd be the shit if it was, but I think they look alot diff than that. Yea I'm really happy that I did listen to the wife's good natured advice, I guess that's why they the better half. I'm pretty interested to see what I get out the rubbermaid when it's all said and done, a couple oz's and i'd be happy with that you know? Right now I can't even smoke so it's more for fun than anything.

Well the girls liked the un-chlorinated water so much that they shot up last night and the girl on the right grew right into the bulb practically and burned herself a little bit on a couple of leaves, I'm going to have to check on them more often now I think. I try not to stare at them to much, but I guess I have a reason to now though
