That's how I'm seeing it too. He says all over to stay away from high P and K foods and then suggests that? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Don't get me wrong, 3-12-6 sounds like it would work, although with quite a bit of leaf drop and necrosis, just doesn't jive with what he's been saying.

wow m420m, i'm impressed. your first post that was half a page long made me chuckle! keep up the good fight. my one question to UB is this: (no disrespect cause i think that some of UB's info is helpful) since you always preach about all your botony knowledge, have you ever gone to AN's web site and and used the 'advanced epdia'? i know stupid name but lots and lots of tech talk about each and every product they sell. i myself do not have have much knowledge about botony so it could be all hype to me but it sure sound like it something. so if this fuk'n AN vs. whoever keeps up (i'm sure it will) how about people who chime in with all this AN hatred yet have never used anything from them (guess it's just 'COOL' to AN bash on forums) should at least see if their vast intellect can understand all the info at their (AN) site. by the way m420m, i got kicked off of some site called ..... farmer (can't remember the first name of the site, shit) for simply stating my views on AN (cause he was bashing for no reason at all) and called some guy a douchbag. apparantly calling someone a douchbag was going to far. i think there was more to it than that, seemed to be a non AN site. i just don't get why so much emotion is centered around a fert company that is not forcing anyone to buy their products. if you don't like them then get over it, and if you have never used their products then SHUT THE FUK UP! i'm done, sorry for all the misspellings!!

Uncle Ben is trying to help everyone, and even those that throw personal insults. He obviously has it figured out and he doesn't need us, but we need him. This site is a resource, but if we can't be grown-ups, then it won't be of much value, because good things don't always last. I am not important here because I don't say jack, but UB helps many, many, people and he has his views and they aren't going to change without proof. I don't have any to give, and I'm just learning, but I very much respect UB, Roseman, fdd2blk, and many others because of their helpfulness, good heartedness, and their experience. I'm just trying to learn what I can, and there is usually something good to learn from any thread. If you trust those that are selling, then that's okay, but don't expect the Jolly Green Giant(UB) to buy it without proof.

The main point is what qualifies him to be a Jolly Green Giant ...why? Can it get explained to me? I am not being disrespectful but there is a lot of misinformation and many people disagreeing have full grow journals in this thread some multiple. But I only see a Wikipedia type post from UB did i miss something. Can somebody show me what I am missing

Frustration I guess the site would have gotten a bad reputation with the misinformation as it stood and a lot or senior members where crediting a uncredited statement and overall philosophy ...bad help is not help

Congrats, those that looked great and I'm sure you and well anyone would be happy with that.

That's not really the point and the weakness of the internet. What looks good might not necessarily taste or work the best. Not saying yours were or were not good. But, I've seen some big ass plants like that and well.. to me they were lacking something in the taste.. I mean to me it just tasted like the same old same old out door I grew up with. I like it but it's not going to turn any heads at the party if you know what I mean.

I hang with a a lot of professional growers and while yield is king, quality is second and how much you paid for nutes is dead last. It's like asking a drag racer what his MPG is. It's not an issues cause if you have something to make him go faster he'll buy it. I know that not everyone lives in a med state or an area like the bay area but it's different then most places. There are LOTS of growers and LOTS of competition at the dispensary. It's all about quality and no one gives a fuck all about how cheap you grew your plant. In fact it will work against the value of your yield.

So, out of curiosity how much money did you spent on nutes vs how much you think you yielded? Let's figure out a ratio of investment vs yield value then calculate the difference in percentage. So that we really know how much money you guys think people are wasteing.. Is it pennies or dollars a lb? I really don't see it being more then a few dollars a lb.. Also keep in mind the market value of outdoor commercial chemical food vs indoor organic as we all know Organic will and does fetch a higher dollar.
