Why don't you just upload them directly from your computer?
Apparently uploading to one of those other sites first is not working
I just uploaded about 10 pics in 1 post today directly from my computer
Try uploading from your comp

that's what i've been doing until last night. i click on the paperclip icon and the manage attachments window pops up. it gives me 4 options to upload files from my computer. if i upload one it works just fine. if i upload more than one i get that missing security token every time.

last night i tried the photobucket thing.

Yes once you upload one than just upload another.....
I don't see where the problem is.... you can upload more than one pic per post
Do what you just said you did last night, then after you click upload.... do it again and upload another...
This is becoming way too complicated for such a simple task haha. You are making it harder than it should be.
After you hit upload, browse through your pics. Double click the one you want and then upload that. There will now be 2 pics in the post
Do this until you have all the pics you want in the post

there's two ways to get to that window: the way you just asked about, which i just tried, and the little paperclip icon. either way when i try to upload more than one picture i always get this:

i really don't know how to inform the administrator. i clicked on the blue link at least once but no response. i asked for help on the forum help page and got nothing other than one person saying they have the same problem.

So just upload one at a time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After you upload one just do the same thing you did to get one and you will have 2 pics attached to the post
You are making this wayyyyyyy too difficult.... You remember how you got one picture? Go through the same process and you will now have two pics attached to the post

tom, i can't upload more than one at a time! i can click all 4 and add attachments and it doesn't matter. i keep getting the same error message. i know what you are telling me to do and i really appreciate your help but i'm 100% sure i'm not just being stupid. there's a bug or conflict somewhere. i don't know if it's with my system or the forum software.

Lol you don't get what I am saying haha

Do you see the first blank box with the word browse to the right of it? Click browse and then double click on the picture that you want. Now click the upload button. That box with writing in it will now go blank and be moved under the manage attachments button in the original window where you are writing the post. Now go to the manage attachments window, click on the browse button next to the first blank box. Browse through your pictures and double click on the one that you want. Now click the upload the button. Now if you go back to the original window where your post is written out you will now see two uploaded pics under the manage attachments button. Continue doing this process until you have all the pics you want to upload. That is EXACTLY how I did it a few hours ago. If this does not work for you than you are doing something wrong. There is nothing wrong with the site and uploading pics to it

No worries haha
I am a little surprised I didn't get as frustrated as I should have lol don't take offense to that
I love the look of those LED's, I wish I could afford one of those. I would love to use an LED with a low wattage HPS and see how that does for flowering
Like a small low heat box for the summer months

tom, i really don't think the LED panel i have is worth the cost. i spent about 130 dollars on that thing at HTG supply and it is made cheap cheap cheap. as you can see i use it for side lighting and the plants right next to it tend to lean that way. it does not generate much heat. i really dont know what to think of it.

I think they can work well for veg but when flowering comes is when they really lack the output
I think combined with your other lighting it should work well, can't hurt at least
How much wattage are they using? I would think that they work better than CFL's... right?

mine is a 42 watt panel. you are right, compared roughly to a 40 something watt CFL i think this has many more lumins and much less heat. i used to run 150 watt cfls and those things get hot. i can put my plants leafs (leaves?) right on the led panel and they wont burn. i just wish they weren't so expensive.

hi, thanks! yes, that's a 400 watt bulb. i switched from MH to HPS a few days ago and also went to 12/12 lighting. before the switch i was running the 400 watt MH 24/7. you can see the 45 watt LED light panel i keep on the side.

as far as keeping them short and bushy i've had a oscillating fan on them from about the time they were 1" tall. i also keep the light fairly close about 2 feet at first and now maybe a foot and a half to prevent as much stretch as i can. i also do a couple of other things i read somewhere to do - which might be nonsense but i do them any way. once the plants are firmly rooted i will crank up the fan to high for 15 minutes a day and really blow them around. i also take my fingers and shake the stems vigorously once a day, (somebody said tomato growers do this.) i also turn the pots a half circle once a day. of course i'm pretty careful about these operations and use common sense but all of the above or some of the above seems to help keep them shorter and bushier.

i wonder sometimes if having some side lighting (like the LED panel or maybe a CFL) encourages some bushiness too.

8-) nice to be able to send more than one pic per post.

so can you see the "balls" in the first picture? i'm guessing that's a male although it's still a little early. that's one of the vortex. so if i'm right i got 1 good female vortex out of 4 seeds. i think i have one male a-train as well. that's 3 female a-trains out 4 seeds.

none of that really means much to me. i always figure if you stat 4 seeds you're lucky to get 4 to grow and get 2 females out of them. plus some plants seem to be just more picky than others in various stages of their lifetimes.

my original goal was to get 1 a-train and 1 vortex to finish strong and healthy so i'm on track.

i don't know if i have room for 3 a-train females. i might have to get rid of one or try to prune it down to a totem pole.

i'll give a few more days and then pull the males.
