confused about cloning

i understand that i need to clip branches off of my mother plant and start cloning useing rockwool cubes but once the roots start to spread out can i transfer the rockwool cubes into a pot of soil

Yes, you absolutley can.

ok so i can transplant into a pot with good soil with the rockwool in the middle cuzz i have not seen this done

Yes you can, and it's done all the time. I believe widow maker does this. and i will soon too.

As the roots increase in size and multiply, the rockwool will break into chunks. Floralfoam does a good job, too. Happy cloning!
