wow fry there HUGE!!! i haven't seen my girls in over a week,i would have to say that veggin under floro's has its disadvantages..your plants have to be a foot taller then mine..idk not for sure..haven't seen em,in a while,i snaped a shitty pic of the bud sites to give ya a idea how there doing here ya go...not thread jackin ya fry just sum friendly bud porn ...they went 12/12 the 27th i think
Yeah, I'm that Mh for vegging worked out great, I think I pushed them a little long, but hopefully they will all work out. My biggest concern is not finding a herm before it's too late. I'm not sure I'll be getting good bud production low, but the tops should be great!

And thanks for showing your pic, hopefully I'll have those bud site to show off real soon too, I've been getting pistils for a 3 or 4 days now so hopefully they will start adding up into buds real soon.

FryingPan, Wow there lookin great ! Mine were lookin pretty damn good too untill I found 3 out of the 4 were females !! What a mess trying to get out 3 and not kill the forth !! But shes doing ok... As far as nutes go I've been using Botanicare pro grow and bloom. I just follow what they say ml per gal etc. When I check my ppm meter it's around 17-1800 ! no nute burn and they were lovin it drinking over a gallon a day. I got a Hanna ppm meter at a local hydro shop for 30 bucks . It works fine and doesn't seem to be very finiky and for that price if it gets too bad I'll just get a new one ! cheaper than paying 200 bucks and needing to have them recalibrated etc... Thank gd I picked up a job for a few days I'm getting cabin fever sitting around all day on the pc, staying buzzed. Your grow looks great FryingPan hope your Christmas is good take the doggies out for a walk and enjoy the mountains...
Thanks for the thought ol hippy! always glad to hear from you guys.

I've been following the dosage they recommend on the bottles, but they only talk about the two parts, it doesn't mention the Big Bud additive that I want to put on top of the other bloom nutes. I think I'll just add it and see what happens, I feel as though I'm pretty low nute-wise so that shouldn't be a problem. It's just that without the ppm meter I'm flying blind and I don't like that. I'll have to check out the grow store near me for a cheap ppm meter. I just can't afford $200 right now.

Great to hear you picked up a project, I know the cabin fever thing. I just picked up a little project myself. It won't bring in much money, but with unemployment it'll keep me alive for another month or so. Gotta stay positive!

My Christmas is shaping up nicely, especially with this little project! Hope yours is good too. I just got back in from throwing the ball for the dogs. That's one thing about a ball dog, it doesn't take much to get them a little exercise! Sadie is crazy about balls! She is a real kick, my road is covered with snow, she skids all over the place trying to grab it on the run. She's such a puppy still, she really makes me smile.

Wow!!

Mr. Fry sporting a bubblehead logo.
Yeah, I figured what the he'll, those guys have been nice and real helpful, I was invited so I thougt I would. Face it, these guys do this forum with little to no drama, I've seen threads on this site that are pretty cut throat. I don't need that in my life. This is a pretty quiet neighborhood.

Well, the drain worked great for my set up, partially because I had elevated the base of the grow space. But now with the height of my plants I'm thinking I'd better lower the res. and this will make the drain unworkable. I've also got a pump that works on my drill, looks like this is going to get some use.

I just made this decision this morning, not sure when I'll get to implement it. Gotta soon, those tops are too high right now, and I'm only into the second week of flowering. That will help a lot.

I have my res sitting on top of a milk crate. With the drain plug I can drain into a 3 1/2 gallon bucket, makes it very easy.

I also did not fill all six holes, I left one open (covered) so I could monitor pH, levels, refill easier.

Ahhh, not that big a deal, you gotta be ready for things like this. I just have to remove the plywood floor I put in and a couple of 2x2 floor joists I put under the ply. Remove a few screws, cut those that you can't get to and your done.

I was a carpenter for 10 years before I went back for my masters. Just takes a little time.

Damn, my dishwasher is making noise! If it's not one thing...

Sounds to me like you need to get another dishwasher, I know mine was giving me a little lip last wk so I told her to pack her bags !! I was worrying about having no more room to raise my lights too, but then 3out of 4 were males now I have plenty of room !! The males were towering over my little lady....no more...
