why the fuck are my plants growing so slow!

6 swiss cheese growing fucking slow as shit there 45cm tall stem only 1cm thick leaves r nice and big looks sativa but my question is iv been veging these for 4 months and there still 45cm tall it takes them 2 weeks to fully grow a new set of leaves (what the fuck) im growing outdoors in australia. i do not over water, i think im doing everything right im not a noob to growing plants but am a noob to growing weed which i think is the hardest plant to grow in the whole world unlike any other plant iv grown also iv given it nutes. first i started low than got no diffrence than i gave them a big does....


and still no diffrence than i gave them a cup full of ntues to 1 gallon of water and it didnt do a thing the leaves didnt even burn from over fertilising my ph is 8 could this be the problem? im buyign some ph down getting it to 6.5 and if i dont notice and better growth in 2 weeks im ripping them out and smoking what i have than buying proper seeds (fuck nirvana) please dont give me crap because i said fuck nirvana imo they suck but i know alot of people who have grown big plants from them.

out of range ph will definitely slow the growth, also make sure they are not in shade at any point during the day. also make sure that the ground is adequately tilled, best thing to do is to dig a hole and bury a 5 gallon bucket, put a good soiless mix inside the bucket add some lime/mag to stabalize the ph. should Not use the outside soil.

well this grower from bahamas told me to do this dig a big hole about 30 cm deep than fill with water than fill with good potting soil than plant the seedling and should have enough water for 2 weeks and his plants were hugee thickess stems iv seen big fat buds i guess its the ph if ph doesnt do anything just going to buy some quality seeds.

nirvana are quality seeds, the quality of the plants will be dertermined by the quality of the grow excluding the genetics, ive just grown 2 bubblicious fems from nirvana indoors with great results, quality smoke.

sorry to bitch at you for saying fuck nirvana but if your growing 6 plants from seed they wont have all come from the same mother so i'd exclude poor genetics as your problem.

haha i want to grow bubblegum :) well i just checked on my plants today and there 60cm tall!!! they have exploded with life and are budding many white pistills everywhere!!! one of them have just grown into a huge bush lol an no budding but there other 5 are budding yay! ill be happy if i get atleast 200 grams of these plants :D id say nirvana is a good seed company (for indoor growing) but outdoor growing they suck everyone iv talked to who grows nirvana says they've grown it indoors so yeah nirvana is a good seeds company! i just ordered 15 2 pounder seeds from kiwi seeds. And afghanica from flying dutchman might try kiwi seeds milky way sounds yummy

most of the time its due to over watering. let the soil dry out really good till the plant is asking for a drink. youwill no when by the droppy leaves. or it could be temps,

actually its summer here i started at spring now its summer and hot as hell so hot i have to water everyday!! and if i dont water the leaves curl and burn so i know its n ot my watering or temp as they where even growing slow in spring im sure its nirvana iv grown 4 strains from nirvana all have failed to ggive me some bud oh and just when they were growing nicley they stopped again and there getting direct sunlight im doing everything right here so noone can possible tell me im doing something wrong its just all nirvanas fault would have had some nice bud if whent with flying dutchman

lots of people groe succsessfully with seeds from nirvana so is it really gonna be there fault entirely? however i agree with your last sentence flying dutchman feminzied are the nuts, 5 from 5 strong female blueberry skunk plants iv got now flying dutchman for the win

I wouldn't blame Nirvana seeds, honestly. I bought my first pack of Nirvana seeds back in 2000, Durban Poison and I still grow Nirvana today off and on! I've grown so many Nirvana seeds and never once had any problems. Germination rates excellent, and good results, good honest seeds at a reasonable price.

Your PH is too high as you say at 8, but I do agree that they seem to be growing slowly. it could well be high outdoor temps because that can certainly cause growth rate to slow right down just as it can in a cabinet or growroom if upper temps are not controlled. Whats the max daytime temp there?

i grow swiss cheese from nirvana mine grow crazy fast there not sativa like u stated there mostly indica finished flowering in 7 to 9 weeks althought i let mine go 10

Sounds to me like you have wrecked your micro-flora in your soil. If you pH below 6.5 this will occur. Only need to use pH adjustment if your tap water is lower than 6.5 & it's considered to be a disadvantage overall. pH outside? My tap water is 8+ & ive never even been anywhere near to a nute lockout in pot's!
Lobbing all those nutrients in wouldn't have helped at all either. This is exactly why you should pot up, without adding nutes until flower. Let the soil half dry & pull out the plant as carefully as pos & peep a look at roots, if they are dark yellow, it's probably too late, if light yellow, then there is still hope. Shake out as much soil as you can & re-pot carefully, spraying the new soil with Rizotonic or similar. Dont over do it, you want a nice moist soil & micro herd. Then pray to god they pick up, when they do, put them back in mother earth again. Dont forget to use new compost when you do.
