Okay so i edits my main post becuase i figured i can get the epsom salt, just a few questions though.
I have never used this so dont look at me like i know nothing, its just i know nothing of this salt.
If anyone can tell me how you are to apply this to your plants, and if i can get it at a regular food store or i would have to go to my grow shop?
i know it sounds stupid but shed some help please.
Also a few people have talked about this dolomite lime or something like that, and i would like to learn a little about this also, can i use both together? where are these sold? and how can you use them?
thank you for all of your help, i will give +rep to anyone i can though, in a a contest yesterday i gave so much idt i can for another 8 hours i belivee lol so holdd for it:)

epsom salt is probably your cheapest option, it's only $2 or so for a huge bag of the stuff, and it can be used along with rubbing alcohol for cleaning out your bong =)

I dont think they intended it for use with existing plants, so I would go sparingly, and water it in after you sprinkle on the ash. Let us know how it works.

Also Dolomite lime will work well, too, according to my quick research.

Good luck!

indeed, epsom salt is not what you want to use. lime is better, buffers the pH as well.

"In horticulture, dolomite and dolomitic limestone are added to soils and soilless potting mixes to lower their acidity ("sweeten" them) and as a magnesium source. Home and container gardening are common examples of this use." wikipedia
