told you i never got around to unpacking it to try my hand again
..... now i'm back where i was before though... still no money to "follow directions", so my leftover spores will just have to chill in the fridge for now 
i suppose.... surely havent forgotten about them though

the jar i scooped the black stuff out of is looking good. fuzz everywhere and it's all white.
another jar had contaminants. green this time. i scooped it out and added dry vermiculite. it wasn't too bad. this was another one of the twice injected.
4 of the other twice injected looked good so far. white fuzzy.
2 if the first injected jars are showing green fuzz on top of my white fuzz. the jars were just about fully colonized then i see this tonight. these may just end up tossed into the compost bin.
4 of the first injected looked really good so i threw them into the fruiting chamber before they could start showing green stuff. they look really good. nice thick layer of fuzz. thick ropey strands running throughout it.
Seems like you have a contamination problem, it would be best to acquire a pressure cooker to ensure cleanliness... but its not an absolute buy!

i wish i could.
i have 4 cakes that have 100 pins each, poking out around the bottoms. i assume these will be aborts.
if they all turn into big mushrooms i don't know what i'll do. still nothing coming out the sides or tops.

i could be wrong, but i think this may be due to the humidity being too low??? really high under the cake, so pins pop out there....
flip it over??? i dunno
