Thanks bterz. Yeah, I have no idea how big they will get, because well ...I have nothing to compare to:roll:.. lol It is nice to hear from someone with experience. I hope your right..:-P

I am using a pentax digital and I just look at the display and move the camera around until the lines go away. I have to be above the lights. On the close-ups, I use my other hand to shadow the light. I have a much better camera, but can't get it adjusted to work under the lights.

Thanks for the tip, I will give that a shot.;-)

Side lighting...if you mean do I plan on putting in any extra lights for the sides.. I have thought about it, but can't figure out the logistics in my room. I don't know where I would put them and still be able to move around the trays. Another issue is that my ballasts are run directly to my timer..I could use one of the other timers, but I am worried about syncing them. My timer seems to drift and I have had to adjust it every week. I would want the lights to come off and on at the exact same time. What do you suggest TLD? CFL's or hps? Can I just pick up some hps light bulbs and hang them from the ceiling? :roll:

A little update-
I went down to say goodnight to the girls and noticed they were a little droopy. I have been feeding every 3 days, but they are sucking up the water now. So at before I so to bed I mixed the nutes and fed the spoiled ladies..lol they were pouting.

I upped the A/B to 8 ml per gal and the normal 4mil Multi-Enzyme and .4 drip clean. I also gave them a good shower with the Magic Green. They really are spoiled...I am envious of their perfect little climate...78 deg and sunshine:blsmoke:..I just hang out down there with them sometimes:weed: I might add that I am highly medicated right now:bigjoint:
So I will start the Budxl in a couple more weeks. And then the top booster and shooting power 3 weeks before harvest. I also moved the lights up again..I had to cut a couple pieces of chain to replace the yo-yos..the damn things wouldn't go up any further. I have another 6" and until I top out the lights. They are about 14" above the plants right now, so I should be cool.8)

Anyway, I gotta get some shut-eye, so I am out:sleep:

I am sold on the H&G nutes..everyone said "don't go coco, you'll have problems with your nutes".."use soil for your first grow"...well I have used 90% H&G recommended nutes and kept the ph between 5.5-5.8 and (knock on wood) I haven't had anything but positive results. The root excel is amazing..pricy, but it works great. I have grower friends that will flush and use the H&G A/B when they have any nutrient issues...
I can't wait to start the BudXL, Shooting power, and top booster:bigjoint:

yea I checked the prices of the H&G line at my local store, and they cost a heavy pocket. seems like it's worth it from what I'm hearing though

Ok so I added two dual 4' t-8's to the flower room. They don't stretch the entire side of the canopy but they are centered on the sides. If there is a big enough difference between the side buds under these floros, I will get two more for the next grow;-)

I do need to pick up some reflective paint for the reflectors on these. These are the ones my buddy got for me, I bought grow bulbs, but still need to paint. If anyone knows what the best metallic or reflective paint is..do share:lol:

Very nice grow man, i just found this beauty of a grow journal and i bet everybody wishes they had a setup like this...
some very good info here and hopefully i could kit a grow box like your grow room but smaller :L
