Well if your a small grower with 1-6 CFLs you would never know what a heat issue isYa the whole myth that cfls don't put off any heat is a freaking lie those things get very very hot. I'd rether battle hps temps than cfls atleast you can put a cooltube on the hps and have a fun to cool it. You can't cool cfls like that.
Well, they are all between 12" and 14" right now, however much they grow this week is what they get. I had hoped for them to be a little taller - I should have flushed them last week, and I should ahve went to store bought water from day one. They have taken off again though since the flush. As it is, the new babies are going to need the lights probably sometime this coming weekend.

I believe it - I already have a pair of MH bulbs in the ready, come tax time I'm going to get some 600w digital HPS, and use my current pair of 400w for vegging, instead of the CFL's. Lots of good changes coming in the Spring.Metal Halides are just way easier to work with than CFL's...... lol....

About 50/50, unfortunately. Half the people have said it works, half say it doesn't. Maybe there are extenuating circumstances, such as when it's applied, and how badly the plant in question has been stressed, or if it was biologically a hermie in the first place. My thoughts? Can't hurt to try it out for yourself.

Not yet, they are just lil uns and my main room is 5 weeks in (the journal in my sig) so its gonna be awhile until I get those in for real vegging. My wreck is showing some sativa dominance already, long blades on the leaves, did yours show dominance early?
