bleach and warm water for cleaning the room..... plants in veg can be kept at higher humidity (60-70%) with lower temps (60-68 degrees), being misted a few times a day even, provided there is proper air flow.... I would neem oil the plants twice a day and rinse off after, then give the plants a "sponge treatment" then treat with garlic barrier, then bleach clean the room, and repeat two more times.... I just got the bastards as well, they are moving inside as the season changes ;)
I got some Doktor Doom miticide so hopefully that gets rid of them. cleaning my veg room right now, and still trying to decide if I want to keep the 4 I have in bloom. going to clean my flower room once lights kick back on at 9 pm tonight.

I have Safer Brand Bio-Neem that I'll try if the Doktor Doom doesn't work. I wouldve used the Neem first but I checked the label and it didn't say it worked on spider mites so I figured I'd get something specifically for mites. Sounds like they don't like garlic either huh? I'll make up a gentle garlic solution and try that too. thanks TLD :-D

hehe.... I just started the battle myself..... they all get a Cold shower while I watered...... left tons of water on the floor and soaked up some towels to increase the humidity..... daytime veg room temps are around 78 and I will turn on the window ac to bring it down to 67 (as I only got 3 of 9 infected, silverback full bore, and 2 Jack Herer which genetically resist the mites), night time temps are in the low 60s anyways...... I have to get some garlic barrier spray and some neem oit (it does work on the mites)..... won't be able to grab that up until this upcoming Tues or Weds...... I won't be doin a full full cleaning in there (including equipment) until I have those items and some new panda plastic to line the walls, replacing the old panda plastic......

haha fuck. I knew ladybugs were good for something but I forgot what for bongsmilie definitely going to try ladybugs if this miticide doesnt do the trick. how long was it before you introduced the ladybugs Boom? and were you in veg or flower?

ladybugs and praying mantis are great indoor preditors. the lady bugs can be used anytime all the time but if theres no bugs or mites for them to feed on theyll die off so u catch em with a vaccuum or ur hands and put them bak in the cup and put htem in the freezer for later :) theyll b just like new when u defrost em again for later use if u ever need them that year.

we use em in veg stage but u can use the ladybugs anytime u want theres no bad effects. theyre great. and fun to watch eat and fly no joke get faded and pull up a chair

haha damn thats a grip should do the trick. we used like only 20 and were good.
haha yea letting all 1500 go would be a bit over kill but would be pretty rad to watch lol. and if you only needed 20 or so, I probably wont even need that many.

just neemed the shit out of my clones. still deciding if I should keep the 4 that are already going in there and try to clear them of mites, or just toss those 4 and just work with my clones when they're mite free. definitely getting some ladybugs tho to mite proof my flower room. +rep on the ladybugs Boom :-)

looking nice what are u going to use for your vent on the outside?thats a good size vent
I wired some black weed blocker on the actual vent so nothing could come in from the outside through my intake but still doesnt restrict air flow bad at all
