Enjoy the cure! And don't forget to sample every week to see the difference in uncured and cured. At least that's the reason I use! LOL!

Does anyone know if it is more humid at the top, middle or floor of a room/box? Trying to figure out best level to put dehumidifier.
Thanks!

I hang my air pumps kinda high so that if the power shuts off its hard to kill you pumps with siphoned back water. You can put an inline check valve but I bought one and kinda never seemed to use it enough to buy more.

I would guess at canopy level, since the leaves are transpiring water. But I would say, generally speaking, that if you are exhausting your room and using a fan to direct air through the canopy then most of the humid air from the canopy should be exhausted out of the grow room.

If this is the case, then the main reason you would need a dehumidifier is because you grow in a humid climate. If you are growing in a humid climate then I would say put the dehumidifier near the inlet to help dehumidify the air as it's coming into the room before it gets to the plants.

Thanks, trying to make a drying cabinet for next harvest. Will have 4 times the bud, no where to dry. Humidity in my Veg room is 50 - 65, flower room is 45 - 55. Both are too high for drying, and new box would be similar I think.

Drying can be done at almost any humdity level. It takes longer when it's more humid. Anything below 50% is fine for drying. Don't want them to dry too quickly anyway. Just point a fan in their general direction but not directly on when you dry. I aim my little fan at the nearest corner and haven't lost a bud to the mold monster yet!

My Ak48 ladies are big as hell. First week of flower, and I hope they don't grow much more vertically.

Also, my Sannie Jack Berry arrived along with some El Monstre. Gonna scrog em......Awesomeness.

I'll take pictures when the buds start forming on the AK48. The white hairs now make me smile.

wow!! I think Dystopia totally just schooled me on why I've had so much trouble through this grow. I had no Idea about DO, or how water temps affect the amount of oxygen inteake... I knew my res temps were a lil high ( about 72 ) but now I know y, and how to help prevent problems with proper h2o2 use!! Great info Dystopia!! + rep
We should call you Dystopia-The Library lol, maybe not..

Whoa, I'm ripped :eyesmoke: I just vaped some AK 48 in honor of your grow

I had the same problem with my AK 48 grow, and I had them in a screen. I nearly ran out of room.

It's an f'ing awesome plant. Bushy as hell, lots of bud sites, especially if you train it well. Nice, big, crystally buds.

I included a picture of a few cured ones from my grow. Bear in mind, these were grown under a 250W HPS in high heat conditions over the summer so the buds aren't as dense as I would like. But the high is exquisite!

I'm sure your buds will be much more presentable. Be patient, though, even though it's advertised as a 48-day flowerer, mine took much longer to finish (again partly due to high heat - lower 90's during flower).

Time for another rip...fucking Maynard and A Perfect Circle...I'm zoning...:hump:
