personally i dont untie the ties i use to tie down the canopy until the end... after a few weeks tho you can if you want.. they should stay in place by then..
They're too stretchy and thin stalked for how big the buds are getting (which isn't huge) and they don't need the tie downs to stay down anymore. One bent over and hit the ground when I took it out of the closet (Photo>>). Thot it would break. It's 48 inches tall. Bad for my 400 watt I know. Noob mistake. So now I'm gonna kinda stake one or two now and the others if they need it later.
one, if you have the hook ends off of clothes hangers. and tie them to string, and use the hook side to grab the plant and tie the string to whatever anchor your using, you can easily move the location of the tie, and also its nothing to remove...
two, if you take some plastic garbage bag ties (use plastic.. the paper ones from bread loafs will absorb moisture and thats not good...) and secure one end to the string, you can twist tie the branches instead of actually tieing them... this makes removing them as easy as untwisting the twist tie itself...
