THis might seem silly, but am i safe in assuming that you arent changing out the sulfur each day?

Thanks.
no, one pot of sulphur will last like 16 years, or close to it. lol :-P

i should check to see how much is in there though. i haven't looked in weeks. :weed:

Thanks! Every time I read your name the intro to that tv show that opened with "Fade to Black" starts rolling inside my head. I think it was called tour of duty. Anyway, thanks again.

Have any of you ever seen anything like this after a sulfur burn? The only thing these got that my others didnt was 1/8 tsp suprthrive/gal (apparently that's way too much so no more than 1 drop per now) and teh burn was in a much tighter space (2 x 4 tent.)

All the new growth since I did the burn looks jacked up.

not sure what that is. almost looks like bug damage.

Thanks, fdd2blk, the only bugs I've seen are fungus gnats and not swarms of them. I haven't been able to scare up any larvae which I think are the ones that do the damage. So far I've tried digging through the soil to look for them as I've been told you can see them twitching, looked for them in pools of water when feeding and put potato slices in each pot with no takers.

Every time I water I add some
Fungus Gnat Larvacide
Concentrate of BT Israelensis used at 10 drops per gallon (hand water top inch of medium) kills fungus gnat and mosquito larva.

But, I have to admit I havent been using tht high of a rate but have been using it every watering from day one. I just saw those instructions on the web site - teh bottle says one drop can treat like forty gallons (of pond water) or something like that.

Havent seen any other bugs and it is lterally every new growth. We'll see what happens in the next few days.

Thanks again.

Think everything is headed back to normal - must've been too much sulfur in too small a space??? Hopefully it killed any bugs too!

Yeah, I constantly have to go out and look at some of my nasty looking tomato plants or azaleas and think about all the flowers/ fruit they still put out!
