Ok so my mother plant is pretty big and needed to be trimmed so I figured I would try some cloning techniques.
The first cut I took was approx 7 inches tall, I removed 2 fan leaves and then placed into a cup of ph'd water (6.2) with a couple of drops of superthrive. It was then dipped in rooting hormone and placed in a jiffy pot filled with seed raising mix. I would normally use rockwool under an 8w fluro with 100% results.
It is now sitting on top of a heat pad and under a 125 watt cfl approx 1 foot away No humidity dome, temp at 79 F and humidity 55%.
I didnt hold high hopes for it as an hour later it was droopy and looking awfully sad but the next day (first pic) it looked fine (well better anyway, not dead lol )
So I decided to take 2 more cuttings, using no superthrive or rooting hormone. The next few pics are of this. They are also sitting on the heat pad and under the 125 watt cfl. We will see if they root.
The rest of the pics are of my perpectual grow. I'm aiming for a pound every 5 weeks. The pics are of the 1st and second 2nd grow in this setup. Looking good but still a lot of refinig to be done.
