Would Miracle-Gro All Purpose Plant food (24-8-16) be good for a plant that is 22 days old from seed? And how much of a dose should I give...?

Should I just leave the plants alone still even though it's turning yellow?
First real grow here.
On day 19 the cotyledons began to yellow.
Day 22 I gave her 20oz of 1/4t/gal molasses water, by now the bottom 3 nodes of true leaf pairs were all uniformly light green/yellow-ing.
(Perhaps fed a week early, and I had also been overwatering)
The third set of leaves (3 points/blades) seemed to perk up, perhaps of their own accord. The 4th set (5pts.) were nice and regular/dark green, and new growth was visible.

Anyhow, this is getting a bit lengthy and boring.
I should have just said that now (Day 33), the first set of true leaves (1pt) and the second set (3pt) have completely shriveled up and fallen off. The "third set", look and feel like happy leaves (soft and cool to the touch) but their color has never really recovered. New little stuff, is now growing where the petioles meet the main stalk now at every node, even where the leaves fell off... babbling again...
I am just kindof led to believe that no matter what those couple bottom leaves are going to go, I'm not too sure I've seen a mature plant on here that still had its first true leaves (the 1pts.) or maybe even 3pt leaves but who knows...

I've used MG singles with no problems except when I tried it full strenght. My girls are 4 ft tall, getting ready to flower, and a nice green color; no yellowing, no signs of stress. I used half strenght in distilled water every other watering throughout the veg stage and my plants are sexy as hell! Sounds to me like you need to get on your nute game asap or your plants will die of starvation. Try putting the solution in a spray bottle and mist the plants at the start or the light cycle for quicker absorbtion (dont over do it). You could also put a touch of organic soap in the nutrient solution to speed absorbtion at the root level. If you decide against MG try fish emulsion with 1/4 tsp epson salt, and no more that 1/4 cup human urine (optional) per gallon. This solution is heavy in N and is for the veg stage. Good luck.

I used 1tbsp to a gallon; that's aprox 1/3 strenght every other or every third watering. The difference depends on how green the leaves are. I've never had nute burn but the leaves sometimes get a really deep green color.

When I did half strenght there still was no burn but 1 or two leaves would turn sideways or flip over instead of laying out flat; I'm told that's a sign your close to the nute limit. Distilled water caused to leaves to correct themselves within an hour or so and I still kept it water only for two days.

Never full strenght, tried it and it made the girls VERY unhappy.
