A quick question, why cant i make any clones that dont die after a few days???
Ok, so heres the deal..... I got 2 white widow moms which were grown from seed and i took 5 cuts off each 1 (over a few weeks) which all worked perfectly, just chopped, dipped in rooting powder, stuck in rockwool cubes, popped em in heated propagator and BOOM, roots hangin out the side of the rockwool in a few days.
Now, i got a new propagator, a bigger 1, but the new 1 has a clear lid and the old 1 had a frosted lid, would this make a difference?
Its drivin me mad, i must have wasted 17 potential clones.
Oh, 1 other thing, all the unsuccessfull clones were taken off clones of the original moms, but i didnt think it mattered, I always thought that clones could make more clones indefinately!!!!!!
Any ideas much appreciated!!!!
ps. 1 last thing, they stay lookin good for a few days then just go a funny colour and wilt, and pulling the stems no roots started, the tip just goes dark (nearly black at the tip)
