build a light trap over the holes.

put a 90 degree casing on it so its pointing down make sure the material is black tho..........ur opening will be facing down and it will bend to ur hole problem solved

I would buy a couple peaces of pvc pipe big enough to fit over the hole and and put a couple of angles so light wil not travel up the tube. On the intake side I would first angle it behind the box and then down so no light will travel and I would take the tube close to the floor to get good cold air. The exhaust side I would have it go around the back just like the intake side and then up instead of down to let that hot air rise and once agian no light should travle back into the box.

Hope I was of help,
Good Luck

I guess metal would do. Always use what you can untill you get money burning a hole in your pocket then spent it. The old saying is "if it aint broke dont fix it" so if what you use works then dont worry about what its made of.

sum times the simple idea's are the best....lol...:)

im thinking to make sum boxes get a couple of old plastic tubs( cardboard boxes?) or sumthing along them lines but make sure no light can penetrate thru them(black paint?),cut a few vent lines in to them or sum wee holes so the air can still flow ok, then screw them to the wood or silicon them on.
and that should b the job dun..:)

yeah make the cube bigger than the fan area so u can fix it down and seal it up proper.

are you using metal ducting into the box then?

may b easier to just get sum bigger ducting to go around where the fan sits n just fix it straight on?

total ghetto mod but works...haha......bongsmilie

bongsmilieya the ducting will deff be bigger than the fan so that i can get as much airflow as i can might try this cardboard box method :) after i get off work though ya';; have a good day gotta go make the cash ha gotta rip the bong first

The girls are beautiful good job! How tall?
I agree the box sounds like a good idea but if the ducting is bigger than the fans it shal do
