WonderWhatsNext...... LSt works best when the stems are still flexible, thats why you start early BUT you certainly can still bend the tops over at any time, just do it gently. To be honest it does no harm to 'pinch and bend' stems, its another common training method, again it has the same effect.Sorry to keep changing the subject to noob questions but does it matter when you start lst? I have 2 plants about 2 feet tall each and i was thinking of giving it a try, they are still in veg so i dont see how it would matter thanks man for the nice replies and good work on your grow!![]()
So if you want to you can put in an anchor tie and then pull that main stem gently down in opposite direction. This will slow the upwards growth of your plant and encourage those lower branches to develop. If you bear with me I'll post a couple of pics for you showing how its done?
One more shot, I know its overkill

I took this one as the sun was going down last night just before I put them back to bed! The smaller plant nearest camera is Bubba O Kush just into 12/12 and the other is a clone from the NL pot at back left. She wont go into flower for another 2 weeks.
