This is the golden question. It's the one that sticks in the craw of team Obama and the one they don't want us pondering. Of course "they" need to give their troops a way to answer this. Presently you hear the following:

1. anyone who listens to this is crazy, don't listen... repeat don't listen

2. surely someone has verified his eligibility (wrong, no-one has, there are NO records)

3. the colb is sufficient (LOL)

4. he doesn't legally have to (this may shockingly be true, after all it's only the constitution)

5. what about those news clippings? (anybody could get that in the newspaper and his grandparents wanted it announced)

Also consider this: if ANY of the above were really good answers to why he shouldn't just release the bc, why were "they" never offered in court as he was spending big money to fight lawsuits trying to force the bc public? Did his high paid lawyers ever argue the colb was sufficient? No. Or that he doesn't legally have to show the bc? No. Or that the newspaper clipping settle it all? No. They argued that no-one has legal standing to even take him to court on this. And that has worked until the military people started coming forward. Hard to deny them standing. The case is in fed court in FL. Stay tuned.

It takes a case accepted for trial for there to be subpoena power. So far cases have been dismissed on grounds the plaintiff did not have legal standing. That's a whole murky area. Personally I think the courts really don't want this and if there is a grey area on standing that allows them to escape they will. It's hard to believe they can declare members of the military don't have standing to challenge the legality of their commander-in-chief. If it gets to the point where one of these suits confers subpoena power then it will be interesting.

Will Obama release the bc? Will he resign? I think he will appeal and drag it all the way to the supreme court. That fact that he would do that would speak volumes.

Couple of things...

1. SCOTUS has ruled that you cannot renounce your US citizenship as a child because of the actions of your parents.

2. The SCOTUS has turned down 3 suits challenging Obama's citizenship. While they were because of lack of legal authority, they were referred to as "frivolous".

3. Now that there is at least a challenging document, I believe it should be checked for authenticity by experts, and he should be compelled, or the Hawaiian authority should be compelled, to produce the original record.


As I have stated before, I understand setting a precedent of non-disclosure... this looks like a valid enough reason to prompt more investigation... IMO.


This does not validate the false claims that a COLB is not valid. Many keep saying "which every president has done before", and that is just incorrect. There are TONS of documents from schools etc from several presidents which were not turned over. People went ape over docs Bush wouldn't hand over, and Clinton. I don't know that a COLB has not been used in the past. It has never been an issue that I am aware of.

I got this info from the most trusted person in news pay particular attention 4 minutes into the video. You can click ahead to the spot if you don't want to watch the whole 9 minutes. But I guarantee you will regret you did.

As far as I'm concerned this is a non-issue ... in fact the people that support this and believe the right wing pundits are just being suckered ...

... Obama is breaking the law both national and international ... he has continued where the bush regime left off committing war crimes ... spying on Americans ... pumping tons of tax dollar ... printed with no backing ... into wall street and corporate amerika ... blocking prosecution of war criminals ... ignoring the evidence of election fraud and 911 ... and you people are worry about a fucking BC?
It doesn't matter to you that he is continuing to rendition people. It doesn't bother you that he has stop any prosecution of those that are guilty of torture, nor are you concerned that he is holding people who were proven innocent indefinitely ... oh no ... that shit ... no problem. The wars ... which are illegal ... that he is escalating ... so what!

Yes, the courts are reluctant to tackle this issue until a groundswell appears from the public.

Our courts are not what they used to be, that's for sure.

The reason why the BC AND the college admissions stay with us is because it is the best way to remove him from office and stop the suicide run he has set the country upon.

The courts could care less if a groundswell occurs. This is a DEAD issue. He issued the CLOB, which is more than adequate. I know many people who will only issue a CLOB when needed to prove birth. It is a valid legal document and will suffice when applying for a passport. Trust me, I have only a CLOB and have used it as a supporting document at the BMV and abroad. No one has questioned the validity of it.

As for Obama, his CLOB will suffice. There is absolutely NO evidence in support of the idea that it should not. His grandmother's claims are hearsay and this issue with travel to Pakistan is unproved and circumstantial. This is a ridiculous issue - a non-issue - a dead issue. Nothing will ever come of it. I guarantee you.

Anyone could place those announcements. No doubt the grandparents did it wanting it to be announced.

This is a moot point anyway. A newspaper clipping does not satisfy a legal question (even a legal question so apparently minor as the constitution). Imagine you are audited by the IRS. Try saying, "I'm not going to give you the official records you want, but you can have this old newspaper clipping. OK?" See what happens.
