i would have repotted into separate pots unless you're going with a sog or scrog method

repot before its to late the plants will choke each other with there roots and die, not to mention inhibit there growth and yield

doing it now he might have some damage control, might be able to slice the dirt while in the pot in to equal parts and plant that as a whole in to other containers, clean cut roots will repair them selves as long as you dont handle the crap out of them

let them veg for a few weeks at least unless space and light are a issue
I cannot go larger than a 4x4 area which is why I had to plant 4 of them to a pot. An agronomist friend of mine with a Doctorate (and grows his own) told me this was ok.
They have been on a 18/6 cycle. Should I slightly bump it up to a 20/4 for maybe a week or so, then go to 12/12?
I will gain some space once the males are eliminated.

putting them in the same pot was not smart at all,,,no.1 everytime u transplant u stress the plant,,,,no.2 wat if you have all females???u have more chance of getting males now in my opinion because of the stress of the root tangling ect... transplant then sex
Damn, I started with too many then. Cause I will only be able to grow 6 max under that light.
What the hell should I do now? Just pick the best 12 out of 24 and re-transplant? They were just tranplanted yesterday

ok bud here is what you need to do transplant in to containers, slice the soil while in the pot in to equal parts with the best damn knife in your moms drawer, clean it first, find some clear beer pong cups and use them like humidity domes and leave them on for a few days, mist with ro water
This is an email reply I got from my friend who has his freakin' doctorate in agronomy & soils and grows his own. Now I am not saying any of you are wrong, but this was his reply when i asked him if those plants being in the same pots would damage the roots of the others:
"I don't get it. Agronomically, that doesn't make sense. It might if
you have, say four plants, two male and two female, and you try to pull
up the males after flowering. That might damage the roots of the
remaining females. But you can just clip the males at the soil line and
eliminate them that way, so there is no need to pull them up. But
merely increasing the plant population (more plants per pot) should have
absolutely no effect on the root system."

how did u expect to seperate the males from females once they showed their sex..wouldnt the root ball be a mess to take apart?? just wondering
