July 28, no sign of military exercise?

They were suppose to start on Monday (27th) but nobody has seen them prep or drill or anything. No media coverage. Did they give up? Are they late? I was looking forward to observing how they do things. Should be fun to watch.

Has anyone seen them doing drills in the Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, California states?

The NLE 09 scenario will begin in the aftermath of a notional terrorist event outside of the United States, and exercise play will center on preventing subsequent efforts by the terrorists to enter the United States and carry out additional attacks. This scenario enables participating senior officials to focus on issues related to preventing terrorist events domestically and protecting U.S. critical infrastructure.

weed is an excellent way to keep violence to a minimum....

So I watched those vids and have to say those helicopters look badass.

But other than that what is it that we are worried about? Are you saying that they are setting up FEMA to take over america? Or is it a way to get their crap together so if something like Katrina happens again we don't have Kayne West saying Obama hates Black people?

i hope it there getting there shit together for another Katrina, however y didn't they do that years ago, and why are they bringing in foreign troops to train with us for the coming insurrection. and what in gods name are the camps for and why are they so secret?

this is one issue where i hope im wrong cos if im right then america is headed for a dark place

Maybe Obama is having a laugh at all the people flipping out about it.

Him and the internet Czar and everyone else in the whitehouse have these chat logs up and are cracking up at everyoen gets spooked.

I have to say it's quite eerie to watch all this military activity, but it's training for terrorism after all...

The foreign troops need to get the fuck out. They are completely unnecessary and it's committing high treason to allow them on our soil.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The U.S. military wants to establish regional teams of military personnel to assist civilian authorities in the event of a significant outbreak of the H1N1 virus this fall, according to Defense Department officials.
The proposal is awaiting final approval from Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
The officials would not be identified because the proposal from U.S. Northern Command's Gen. Victor Renuart has not been approved by the secretary.
The plan calls for military task forces to work in conjunction with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. There is no final decision on how the military effort would be manned, but one source said it would likely include personnel from all branches of the military.



It has yet to be determined how many troops would be needed and whether they would come from the active duty or the National Guard and Reserve forces.
Civilian authorities would lead any relief efforts in the event of a major outbreak, the official said. The military, as they would for a natural disaster or other significant emergency situation, could provide support and fulfill any tasks that civilian authorities could not, such as air transport or testing of large numbers of viral samples from infected patients.
As a first step, Gates is being asked to sign a so-called "execution order" that would authorize the military to begin to conduct the detailed planning to execute the proposed plan.
Orders to deploy actual forces would be reviewed later, depending on how much of a health threat the flu poses this fall, the officials said.

Bush, came after months of heated internal debate about the balance of power and the role of the military in a time of crisis, participants said. Officials said the Obama administration had left the plan essentially intact.
Under the revamped structure, the White House Military Office, which reports to the office of the White House chief of staff, has assumed a more central role in setting up a temporary “shadow government” in a crisis.
And the office, a 2,300-person outfit best known for flying Air Force One, has taken on added responsibilities as the lead agent in shepherding government leaders to a secure site at Mount Weather in rural Virginia, keeping classified lists of successors and maintaining computer systems, among other operational duties. Many of these types of tasks were previously handled by civilians at other agencies, led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
