Well if they dont sprout in in a week or so u might have bad seeds but ive read that if u put them under ure lights the heat will help them germ faster but im not sure if this is true I just put mine in the ground and put them on the window seal intill they sprout but who knows it might help.

Haha i did that on my first grow too. I ended up with a root sticking out of the ground and i couldnt figure out what it was lol, but anyways im not sure how much a index nail is but I put my seeds down about a 1/2 of an inch or so. You could even go a 1/4 but i think going 1/2 an inch gives the plant a stronger healthier start. Hope this helps =] peace!!!

Yeah you want the root facing downwards, otherwise it may take a bit more time to break the soil (because it's got to reorient itself and figure out which way to grow) or you may end up with roots growing up out of the soil instead of down into the soil.

Also, the soil needs to stay moist (but not wet). Putting them under lights isn't really necessary until they've broken soil, and may even be hindering their progress by drying out the soil.

When I plant my seeds, I just put the pots on the kitchen counter and cover them with plastic until they break the soil. THEN i move them into the light, asap.

You can wait and let nature take its course or just very carefully loosen your soil and try to find them and reposition them correctly, just be careful.

very nice of all you really i do appreciate to start off lol i think ima do the natures thing but instead of putting them in my lighting going to place them on desk water them and place a pixie cup misted on top of the center. i guess humidity plays a nice roll on sprouting plants. if im right im just kinda thinkin cus im blazed and did it lol good idea or bad lmao?? and do you guys suggest i throw two more of those 6500k or maybe four??(the bigger ones!=)) well thanks again!!! "its like killing a unicorn ...... with like a bomb!!!" pineapple express funny shit! oh yea these are pics of growth today alot with just the two bulbs of 6500k!

"after reviewing the play" lol (researching) i think i have come to the answer to my own problem too much watering! =(. the ph is not affecting it at all yet or it would have signs of retarding on the leaves right? so solution is, if she doesnt die just let the soil dry till thursday possibly wed if i feel its right??

Yup looked like classic over watering, just don't water her at all until she looks good again,Im sure she will get back to normal.

Yah just water when the planter is light when you pick it up and then when you do water only water intill water starts to come out of the bottom of the planter (just dripping not pouring =])

Things should really start taking off now. I used tohave the same kinda temp problems and once they were fixed I couldn't believe the results, it was like comparing soil to hydro. Thanks for stopping by my thread, but mine are really just over a month old, the oldest lady in flower was born june 20th. Just givethem what they need man:peace::leaf::joint:
