yeah ur startin a little late for a big outdoor yield, but if u transplant into the ground right now, you can end up with something nice

wat do u mean like plant it in the dirt?
cuz i already planted the jack seed
He means out of the pot and into the ground.

I use duct tape to control all my light leaks in my closet, it works wonders. I recently invested into the more expensive duct tape, the 3m extreme weather indoor/outdoor one. Freakin sticky! I stuck some on the wall by accident, too the paint off. Great stuff, avoid the cheap stuff that lets light through spend the extra $1 and buy the $3 roll, not the $2 one.

Rule of thumb: Hold a strip of duct tape up towards a light and look through it. If you see light coming through use more, or better yet, get better duct tape.

isnt all duct tqape the same -

No there are cheap crappy ones and good stuff. Here at we have Princess Auto. They have a huge selection of cheap stuff. My buddy bought Duct tape from them thinking it is all the same stuff. It was okay depending on what you use it for. It let light penetrate so I had to stop using it to seal some gaps in my black and white plastic as it was not good. Very thin, very low quality.

If you want to be safe buy the one made by 3M (Scotch). They always make a good product. they have different levels like I said I just bought the extreme. Extra money but not really needed it was overkill. It was just made to handle moisture, cold and heat better. The regular stuff is more than okay, no need to spend the extra money. Just go to lowes, home depot or wal mart. They all carry the 3M/Scotch brand.

Do not get the silver foil one. Although that is good, it is good for duct work (which if your vents at home are not sealed it is a good idea). You want to get the one that is made with rubber. For what we use it for it is the best.

but i put my plants under something to keep the rain off is this okay?

That's fine, but then why grow outdoors if you don't take advantage of outdoors? when the plants are just small seedlings that is a good idea, but the bigger plants, let them get wet.

I know the feeling, but lazyness can sometimes cause problems where just an extra 2 seconds can save you lots. Besides I like tape better, wrap around tear done. Seems like less effort.
