Sorry I'm answering so late Butters! Yes you are correct I unhook the line from the pump that normally goes to the net pots and hook up a line and drain it into some gallon jugs then dump.

hey i am also a chicity grower i just read your first grow and every thing went well i liked the fact that you are useing cfls i also have a bublleponics system but not as fancy as yours i just have a tote stone ph'd water(city water bad reads off the chain on the ph meter might be why it hurt my stomic win i drink it give me the shits ) i hand water intill the roots touch the water just, wondering do you use a ppm meter, i do not, and i am scared off nute buring my plants i was thinking of transplanting my plants into soil untill i read your frist grow and didnt here you mention a ppm reading , get back at me +rep on every thing im reading so far (it has nothng to do with being from the chi. LOL ) also this is my frist hydogrow stop by and check it out let me know what you think hopefuly you can help befor i go or'go(soil)

12/12 from seed? I don't think you can grow on 12/12 alone. Doesn't cannabis need a 18/6 cycle to grow up? Then 12/12 just for flower?

correct they need 18/6 for the plant to think its spring (longer days of light)
I even tried this time with 24/0 no dark at all just to see if the veggin time would be quicker. I have friends that only do this they dont mess with 18/6 at all.
For me the veg time seemed the same as when i did 18/6 I had everything the same nutes wattage of lights grow box , just the light times changed.
As for how long i vegged its in my journal something like 5 or 6 weeks Found it 6 weeks on dot day 42 i switched them to bloom

noo it does not you can go 12/12 from seed and the plants will be fine, short but fine, there is even a thery that it influences seeds to go female

Day 62 Pics taken on Day 59
Well to catch up, the plant in middle on the bottom row turned out to be a boy. Not a bad thing b/c I only had 1 seed left after this grow and I needed some pollen so 1 of the plants can procreate some seeds.
The Boy was matured a lil then pulled out of the Hydro and then pruned of its sacks for current and future pollination, they are in Freezer storage till my seeds come in harvest.
As for the clones the top left was from a girl and the bottom left ended up being from a boy, so discarded.

nice bushes man I think you and I are running neck and neck here i'm not as well a journal keeper though. i'm in i think my 3rd- 4th week of flowering and I am expecting about 6 more weeks. so is she startin to stink yet? I am so envious of your cab. I have been grooming 2nd hand stores all weekend looking for a flip up top like that. I have a tool shed light tight with a pad lock lol. anyways enjoy.
