like i said im white(irish) but i see what goes on to the best of my ability regarding subversive underground racism that is still quite prevalent in american society. its just most in this day and age is spoken behind closed doors. i can understand the anger its not unjustified in any way.
hey this is off topic but i too am irish decendant. my great great great great great grandad (dont know how many greats) was the architect of your white house (james Hoban). my family hundreds of years ago moved to america then years later most left for the uk.

i just simply cant wrap my head around people supporting this backwards woman who believes the bible more or less word for word. im so sick of people willing to support more of the same religious influenced madness. its 2009 cant the extreme right find a better representative its really sad. hate obama fine but palin as a choice is really scary she simply does not have the mental capacity to run the country. im often somewhat ashamed to be american most the time we seem to be collectively getting dumber and dumber.

That, is the crux of my whole decision, and defense thereof. I am not an Obama guy... our nation will survive Obama... it may not survive incompetent mismanagement by an ignorant fundamentalist. Bush II is as close as I ever want to come to that. Bush is smarter than people give him credit for, and far simpler than others do. It is funny the range of accusations, that he is barely smarter than a retarded monkey, or that he has the capacity to undermine and pull the wool over the entire worlds most advanced intelligence agencies. Regardless, he is pretty well resoundingly disliked. I find myself constantly defending him because people argue the wrong problems. I think overall, Bush was good for this nation. I think Carter was bad for it. I think Clinton was bad for it. I think Nixon was bad for it. I think Reagan was good for it. JFK good. I think Obama will end up being good. He is breaking all the promises I expected, and I find it heartening that liberals are getting angry and comparing him to Bush. I expected once the full breadth of intelligence was consumed, some core positions might change. I trusted that he was smart enough to make the correct decisions.

I still doubt healthcare is going to change at all. There is just too much money opposing it. I forsee BS plans which congress is saddled with blame for not getting done. Just depends on whether or not we are dealing with 4 instead of 8 years how that is handled I guess.

The stimulus money... is a huge price to pay for fear of greater evil. Obama office is now saying "We misread the economy" because of rising unemployment. Well duh... that sucks. So the likelihood that this money was all a waste gets greater every day. Ugh.

I expect Obama will be less liked by democrats than any other group when it is all said and done.

Wow that was rambling. I wonder if I could write Palin's speeches...

my thoughts on bush......1. 9-11 changed everything, we had never even imagined something like that would happen so we had to come up with a plan so he started afghan war which makes sense.
2. he thought he really was protecting america when it came down to the weapons of mass in iraq, and he was right to be afraid of iraq they would of sponsered terroists w/o a second thought.
3. he did the best he could, nobody becomes president and then tries to fail, he made some bad choices but he did what he felt was right.

You guys must really hate competence, to waste so much of your finite time on this planet, dragging "it" through the mud. God bless Sara Palin, her family, and her enduring commitment to this great nation. I pray for all of our sake she has the fortitude to take the hits, again and again, for my family, and for yours.

And with that, back to the stoning....
