listen to me SS..ive had these problems with venting for along time..i bucked up with ur advice to try gorilla duct tape, iwill never stop using this shit now that im hooked, much bettter than reg duct tape, except still not a worthy heat vent tape..be4 clamping wrap them with this mettalic vent tape, then clamp over the top of the tape, works great..infact flawless. the vent tape is just as stickey, more so, and it will not curl under high heat. very good shit.. i will always wrap my venting with this tape and then clamp..

Im gonna have to get some gorrilla tape. Im gonna go the the store and pick up a few things for venting today.

When you make your gumby....be sure to use small hoses for syphoning. I had to big of a hose the first time and had to start over. I syphoned into another bucket instead of on the ground. That allowed me to take 2 runs. If your going to the best results i would try and only make one batch. My first batch was ok....then I reran the second batch with the fish aquarium hose instead of a garden hose and it came out 5x better. I smoked the shit ultra fast.


If I ran this site I would certianly have an RIU shop...joint venture partners with seed banks, auctions..etc

Heres an update of the ladies....I have the new light in..I have it at 18 inches but im going to lower it when all my venting is done. Im only running the 1000watt since I don't have enough plants to run both lights at the moment. Im working on fixing that problem right now.

I have at least one seed i could find on 3 of the four plants comming up for harvest. Hopefully that light leak dosen't force me to turn 3 of the plants into hash. It seams like the plants that got polinated are growing slower then the one that didn't....

I cut all the lower branches to try and fatten the cola on the 3rd pic...It works really well...Its also the one not prego.

The batch that is comming up next...theres only 3 of them look like there going to be strong...

yea i got some new lights.. but i fell short of what i needed to fully expand my grow... so i got 2 more veg lights... 2 x 400w hps... lumatek digital ballasts... my partner didnt want to sink another 1000 into 2 floros because he doesnt understand how good the ones i use are... he thinks they are shit.. even tho ive tried to tell him they arent.. he just doesnt understand... so i plan on making this grow really good and getting the rest of what i need after this... i have a total of 2480 watts of power so i better get a good grow.. having a TON of complications tho.. mainly air and res temps.. but i have a water chiller and an 8" exhaust fan on the way so soon i wont have any issues...

i would have gotten 2 more of them instead of the 400w hid's i got if i could have.. they are pricey.. but well worth it.. they veg amazingly...short and super bushy... i would highly recommend them if you can afford them... just make sure they are the satellite IV floros... there are some other floros that are similar to mine but 1/2 the output...

it depends on how big you want to veg them out... but really 2 of them would cover a 5x5 area perfectly.. i would have only vegged with 2 of the lights on if i had kept my setup the same way as i did last grow...

I have a few things to do in the veg and flower rooms....Ive been busier then a one leg man in a ass kicking contest.

Im in day 44 of flower and day 14 of flower, im glad to have the 1000 watt with the new bulb. It gives such better light coverage then the 600. Id run both light but I don't have enough plants ready yet.

There are 4 plants vegging and I got a few clones ready to come to life in the next week.
Hopefully the clones all root...Its been a few days and there all still standing nice.

Theres some Sour D, Grunk, Blueberry, White Widow, and PCT. Im going to take the best clone and make it a clone mother, put it on light nutes and keep it veging for along time. A couple months ill have these ready.

alright... so 20 plants for 2 months.. i would still say 2.. maybe 3 if you budget allows.. but the nicest thing about vegging with these, and what i like the most about them, is you get really sick short compact plants.. i mean REALLY short and compact if you want... since the lights output so much and you can still keep them so close its amazing what you can do with them.. i bet you could veg on a 24/0 cycle with them over 2 months and still only hit about 2 ft tall.. but the nodes will damn near be on top of one another... which means TONS and TONS of bud sites.. but like i said you only really need 2... my original flower room was 5x5 or 5x6 or so and i used 2 in there and it was plenty.. especially if you have poly up or anything like that...

looking good bro.. progressing very nice... definaly right on with the clone ideas... you might want to wait a few weeks into veg and see what clones has grown the most and use that for a mother instead of which one looks best out of the starting gate... only because i have had clones i wasnt sure about end up as some of the best girls i grew.. so it might be worth waitin a little bit into veg to choose the mother...

i love that ur able to keeep ur rh up at 90% in that fish tank..bet those clones are loving it.. i took some clones.. 6 of em.. 2 grunks..2 ecsd...2 pcts..all of em standing perkey and prettty in the bubb except 1 grunk i cutt too long and it wilted over and i pulled it out and rolled it in2 a ball and hucked in on the floor to give the old broom something to do.. dude im freaking stoked..i had those big seedlings in bud..i though most were male..shows me wut i know ..6of 7 female..and 1 male looks like..the 6 are def female..the male im gonna let go for awhile thou..take the guess work out of it..

I want to get 2 of them....I may still go with a thousand MH. I like stalky short plants though. I haven't measured the veg room it going to be about 6 x 6.

Im gonna get a ez cloner in a couple of months. This method is easy but the EZ Cloner is easier. I like theres no extra hormones added, I love water god made it perfectly.

I have read that with taller clones you don't need to have a humidy dome. The aquarium was the best thing I had to clone in. Its worked succesfully for me in the past.

My goal is to keep at least one of each clone alive, it should be all good. I know someone who is able to sex their plants in veg at about the 5th node, I don't happen to b able to....I had to cull my male out. Thats why my run is short, I threw him out in the greenhouse when I found him for about a week to decide what to do with him, He grew like a motherfucker that week...then I killed him.

6 females of 7 thats some bomb shit to hear dog....I cant wait to see them grow...Those are mystery plants, the seedlings?

think of it like this.... a 1000w hps is 150,000 lumens.. the room is 6x6 so thats 4166 lumens per square foot... now remember lumens are measured at 1 foot off canopy... and you cant keep a 1000w hps closer than a foot without some sort of problems.. and even a foot off can cause light bleaching.. but for the sake of the example say it can be kept at a foot... the floros are 44,000 lumens a piece.. but that is at 1 foot from canopy.. these things can be cant about a inch from canopy as long as you have good air movement.. so you can almost figure that is at least 88,000 lumens being emmitted that close to the bulb based on the inverse light law.... so 88,000 x 2 = 176,000 lumens total or 4888 lumens per square foot.. plus since you have two you can cover more plants more evenly.. and keeping them that close they will stay short and stalky... believe me... that was the best part of them.. my first grow room was small height wise so i needed to keep plants short.. worked great.. not to mention they put off little heat so that is a plus when it comes to circulation...

No roots yet...A few of the leaves are saggin a bit...I tried to leave as much leaves on as i could...I might have to take a couple of them off. I figure 5 more days ill see some roots...
