You think its safe to use CO2 in a house where you live....I haven't looked into it much, I could spot the warning signs on my but with kids living here I need to do more research....I got some time for that.

I shouldn't have too much trouble, Im gonna run an 8'' pulling air over the lights and another 8'' pushing over the lights from another room thats cooler. Im going to replace the fan I mounted in the wall for my room intake with one of these stanley blowers. Ive heard good things about these and the price is good also.

if you are going to have a fan pushing air over the lights and another one thats pulling it as well you would be fine with a 6" fan... i assume you are daisy chaining the lights right?? if so a 6" would more than be enough for you in that setup.. an 8" would ensure no issues... but i am just throwin it out there..

i actually have a stanley blower like that myself outside of the grow room blowing cool air in.. LOL they do work great.. and move a shit ton of air.. and for 35 bucks you cant beat it...

Yeah...Im daisy chaining them together. I think a 6'' would do also except I like to over kill things that can become a pain.

Im glad to hear you have one of those power blowers and give it a good review. I have been opening the door to the room at night to keep the temps in the high 70's with the door closed it reaches the high 80's.

im the same way as you.. over kill.. on certain things.. i dont blame you for going with 8" tho... when i get my 4 x 1000wrs up i plain on having an 8" fan per pair myself...

Thats excelent...I have a bookmark tab in my browser called "grow room"....its diferent things im going to need later....that just got added.

i might get one later for the 8" fan i have going now... dont know for sure yet tho.. they are nice tho...

This post has nothing to do with the journal....hopefully one of you can help me.

When i was in high school there wasn't a shit load of hand made glass peices...A $10 pipe now was a $50 piece back then. There were no handmade bongs....glass was hard enough to come by....Anyway...I bought this glass percolator bong in portland...it was maybe smaller then 12 inches and looked like a oil lamp kind of. Not hand blown...manufactured...it was $40

It got broke by this knucklehead....so i drove back and got 2 of them.....One for me and one for a friend. These were a bit bigger but very close to the same.

I broke mine....and bought his....then I had some bullshit happen and lost it....I had had the same bong or a variation of the same bong for 10 years and now I cant seam to find them any more.

everything I find is like 2 feet tall with 3 perks and an ice catcher...plus a $200 price tag. These were simple and cheap...40 to 50 bucks.

I looked all over and cant find any machine made cheap percolators...here is a picture of the perc piece that went to it...any help would be excelent...

i hava mad scientist with a perc. i take the perc out ,, only gives limited amount of intake,,like tryin g to smoke a joint that barely hits.,lol.heres the one iuse.anything with a perc.100.00 on up .go to www.northwestglasspipes.com stuff is real cheap ,badass stuff , made u.s.. got those killer zonk bongs, few percs pretty cheap.

theres a lot of nice pieces that they sell... might have to do some ordering and get a few new ones.. i know a couple glass blowers.. thought about opening a head shop or a hydroponics store (or a combo store... pipes and ponics??) in my area... those are really inexpensive tho, compared to what the shops around here charge... 2 foot water bongs, very standard and so so, so for at least 100... thats twice what the place you showed charges.. hmmm.... i like the idea of opening a place tho...

theres a few online stores selling the same stuf for 3 times the price,,if yu want me to prove it ,i'll show,,that 16 " with perc for 69.//yu couldsell that for 189.00 anywhere,even here in this hillbilly town,lol.plus the store is in the u.s.. i called them las week and they said all the prices are current.. those bubblers for 20.oo iseen the same at grasscity for 150.00.....yea my bluecheese gro is near finishi ng ...will prob have a pound ..thetes some drooloing mouths waiting on this,lol, besides mine.. then buy some pieces.. you can take a 100. and geta few sweet on es.gd. luk.

i wanted to grow bluecheese.. or buddahcheese... or a couple other cheese variations.. but my partner (mostly financial) didnt want to smoke bluecheese as he was afraid it tastes like actual blue cheese.... i really hope it doesnt, cause thats what i tried to tell him.. its just a name.. just like skunk doesnt taste like skunk... but he persisted and i didnt get any of those seeds.. good shit tho huh??

NO"... i tried to explain it to him... but hes not very smart when it comes to bud/strains/or growing.. he knows how to smoke, sell, and a LITTLE about growing.. basically what i taught him, or tried to.. he just knows what he likes and doesnt listean to me about anything else.. oh well.. im in control of the grow and whats grown.. you have my interest sparked further into BC, so i think it might be my next purchase down the road..

Hey Guys a lil off topic here but none the less i'm just wondering does anyone know the correct procedure to connecting bulbs to a car battery. I tried the positive to positive thing but nothing figured that the voltages might have been off or something. Hope someone can help me out thanks

ya slip...if i could get the money to set up a new glass shop...jsut build the work bench really, and rent a liquid oxy tank, and other than that, i have all the torches, regulators, gas lines... push rods, grabber claws, color rod, clear rod, clear tubing, silver and gold, i have it all, been a few years tho.. ya i had a fully set up 2 person station glass shop for years, bro.. I make custom bongs, and pipes..did it for like 5 years st8. i have the whole setup sitting idle in the garage..kinda suks.. but the oxygen rental is ridulous, like another 2bills per month.. one day ill be set up, and u can get a custom piece, that reads in the bowl, ''slip P, Gangster''

how'd yur BB turn out?i've got 11 in big buckets packing down rite now,,get an easy lb. off that also,,i usual buy a real sweet piece after each successful grow.raider.

the voltages are WAY off... 12 volts is about 1/11th of an amp.. it takes about 3.75/4 amps to run a 400w lamp... so... you need about 44 car batteries (assuming the transfer of power is the same and it can be done).. not to mention, i believe, they are different currents.. and how do you plan on recharging the batteries when they are emoty??
