Running 240 instead of 120 will save on electric because you aren't using as many amps.

your right......and wrong. i used tapwater w/o waiting and it worked but when i also used a purifier so i didnt have to worry so much. it depends on where ya live. tap water varies greatly in quality and contaminates from state to state (hell, more like city to city)

i live in one of the top 10 worst tap water cities in the nation. over 300 ppm and PHd well above 8.0. ive PH'd it and run it through filters and even when i dont the plant still doesnt have any problems. i mean hell u water the plants around ur house with rain or tap water right? and they dont ever get problems.

dude, thats such a great idea!!! I cant believe nobody thought of that yet!!! lets try to get it stickied in the newb forum. once you get info in it of course:P, 1. flowering clones take longer to root. 2. chlorine hurts cannabis. 3. roots and buds only grow in the dark. 4. the color of the pistil is what you should use to chop plant or not. theirs 4 i thought of right away.....any more off the top of your heads?
1. they root faster but have to revert back to veg

2. chlorine is bad in hydro. slows uptake of nutes.

3. light damages roots

4. go by pistil color if you care what kind of high you get. milkier white will produce a more cerebral high, waiting till they go amber produces more body buzz stone.

i have one but it might be regional.
look at your bag seeds, the ones with straight lines will grow into males plants, the ones with wavy lines will be females?
or the little white seeds will be males, and the big green ones females.

i actually don't know if there's any truth to the first one.
little white seeds are not mature and probably won't germinate anyways.

Well number 1 and 2 are actually totally true, not myths at all. Don't know where you've been getting your information... It takes a clone longer to root because it has to transition out of the flowering phase before root growth can get back up to speed. And chlorine isn't bad for cannibis? Clorine is a highly toxic chemical, so why don't you try adding a little powdered swimming pool chlorine to your grow medium, then still try telling me it's a myth...

no, no, ur the wrong one. while ur 'learning how to roll' learn how to look up info. chlorine is in ur tap water. its just as bad for humans as plants. in trace amounts you can handle it fine. just like cannabis. so yes it may be toxic, but the chlorine in your tap water is not going to affect it in anyway.

flowering clones DO NOT take longer to root. ur miss informed. what you meant is that a clone taken off of a flowering plant will take longer to grow because it has floral hormones. it takes time to revert back to veg to continue growth up top. the roots will take hold just as fast on a flowering clone as a nonflowering clone. the flowering clone just has to revert her hormones back to veg if you want her to grow more.
