I just sold my 1992 325i BMW for 2grand & I'm real interested in finding a motorcycle. Any1 know a good site or shop where I can find a decent bike for 2grand?

I do need it kinda quick I have midterm papers & I can't be without a way of transportatio. For too long.

You should've been looking BEFORE you sold your car, but oh well. Have you ridden before? Have your M1? If this is will be your first bike, shop around a little. Try cycle trader and craigslist for sure. Personally, I recommend the Suzuki SV650 for an all around city bike/semi-sportbike. Gets about 45 mpg too.

May and cheap bikes are not synonymous.

THe economy may help you out here - But for $2,000 you are going to be looking at old Honda's like Rebels (I think they get over 100mpg), an old Vespa. If you can, get an old Honda CB. The last forever, you can get them cheap, they are fun to ride, retro, chicks dig em, and you will sell it for the same or more than you paid for it.

i got my 93 cbr1000f for 1200 off craigslist last april.

im in the market for a f4i right now but dont know if i want to wait until the season is over to get it

The car ran like a dream fast as he'll with such a relaxing calm handling to it. Regular tune ups & wheel alignments & the interior was in perfect condition. No body damage ever clean title. I just had to be reasonable I got the car for $1500. So I made a couple bucks off it.

2 grand for a bike is a possibility.

personally i think you should have at least 3-4 for a decent one though.

ive had 2 bikes so far, used to have a 2000 kawasaki zx6r then i laid it down hitting a turn in sand so i bought a 2006 kawasaki 636.

ive gotten every ticket imaginable, from stunting/speeding tickets to my personal worst "evading police officer at 100 mph plus" ticket

i'm not proud of it but you have to learn from your mistakes to grow in this world. if you want to know how to get away from police on a street bike all you have to do is get in between cars at a red light *blocking the pigs behind the stopped cars* and then you make a right turn and book it. thats how i did it at least. too bad they showed up at my pad 2 hours later and took me to jail saying they had me on camera.... duhhhhh

happy riding when you get it just expect to pay some fines

Liebe provides several reasons why an old Honda CB is a great pick for you.

Sportbikes are terrible starter bikes. That is coming from someone that has owned just about every modern sportbike.

Man I want a kawasaki so bad. Their so sick. Craiglist has so many stupid adds man. I've been on here for like 40mins already still no luck.

try using kijiji.com and change it to the location you live in, lots of people use it.
im going for my m1 next month.
