Here's my batch of clones at 2 weeks from being cut. They got a little bit of neglect due to my gf being hospitalized. She's ok now and the clones are getting the attention they need. They were a little underwatered and they almost died. I fixed the problem and they're recovering nicely... All except the tall bitch who I overwatered last time, the only one I overwatered. I will give this much to them everytime cuz I like the results.
This is the mother plant. After next monday she'll be put into flowering to finish her life cycle. I wont need her any longer as im going to take clones off my clones.

sorry too hear about your gf life is a bitch sometimes, i took my first 8 cuttings ever yesterday, 7 off a white widow that i kept behind too mother and 1 off a nemesis that got severe nute burn. i,m gonna use the 7 ww to start my sog (thats if they root)so we can compare results . wish me luck and good luck too you too i hope all goes well with your clones.

Well, I have had the poopiest week possible. gf in the hospital again. So my gf has been hospitalized twice and my kitten that I posted on this thread died monday morning from a disease.
Anyways, things can only get better. I'm glad to hear you took your clones. Cloning is easier than you think. I'm not that experienced of a grower, no expert anyways. How are you taking them? Method I use was an article posted in high times on easy cloning. I just make sure stem is minimum of 5 in, has 2 fan leaves and thats pretty much it. I dip the stems in some rooting compound and off they go! Just dont make the same mistake as me and keep your girls' thirst quenched.

young animals are prone too disease so dont feel too bad about it. hope your girl friend recovers. my clones got damp on the side of the peat pots i am using because of the moisture in the propagator i am really pissed off about this and was wondering how you did your clones, did you use a propagator?

No sir, i did not use a propagator. I simply prepared my pots (soil and watered it prior to taking cuttings). I took cuttings that had a stem that was at bare minumum 5 inches long, 45 degree angle when cut. Cleaned the stem of fan leaves/new shoots and left 2 fan leaves on top. Dip in water, dip in rooting compound and stick it in the soil as far as i can. Then boom in 10-14 days your clones should be new plants.
Like i said i got my technique from the april 2009 of high times. there is no need for a humidity dome because of the length of the stem. The plant pulls moisture from the stem. I'm taking clones on monday, so ill post pics of when i do.

hey, so the mould was down to a wet rag which had gone mouldy in the veg room. you see my veg room is round the corner in my friends house so he controls that side. but hey i feel like i,m jacking your thread so mine is in my sig if you wanna pop in. not had many visits

no love for the soil sea of green. i have noticed it takes time to build up a good rep on here. there is alot of journals on here and people tend to flock to the journals of elite members. its not about the rep for me tho its about growing weed

Alright I been thinking a lot. And I think I can make this grow a little more effecient. I took an idea or so from oneeyedwillys grow, chech his sig. Well my original plan was 12 plants every 3 weeks, allowing for 1.5 weeks of veg growth. Well my trial clones reached around 8-10 inches. Im thikning that allows the plants to become too big for my 2-liter bottles.
Instead I'm going to pull 7 plants every 2 weeks. Subtracting a week from veg time basically allows the plants too root. I will worry less about them overgrowing their pots too much, plus taking off that week between harvests didnt sound bad to me either. My new mod to my grow starts on monday, the original 3 week mark for my 12 plant perpatual.

It's time for an update! I took 7 new clones today. I included how I take my clones, its nothing special, pretty simple.
Step 1: Take your clone. It should be at least 5 in long. This one was probably 7-8 in.
Step 2: Trim off any side branches/shoots so you have a bare stem. Make sure to leave 2 fan leaves. Should look like this.
Step 3: Dip your clone in water, than dip it into your rooting powder, tap off the excess.
Step 4: Push the clones as far into the dirt as you can. Push firm, but be careful you dont want to damage her.
And here is my final product for today. 7 new clones in the veg chamber for 2 weeks to root, than a new batch

yeah, 7 plants every 2 weeks with thc bomb. I can fit 36 max in my armior, I could switch strains. I have top 44 and that could cut 2 weeks off of flowering time. I could up the plants to 9 every 2 weeks with that.this was really nice.

until you said this i had,nt even thought about different strains and how they mature at different times. this could be bad for me because i plan to do 4 strains. i will have too check my flowering times for all strains. i feel a little dumb

oh gosh thats mt white widow in my avi. on the flush and getting cut in 1-2 days depending when the soil drys out.
