Keep the temps up high till you start seeing those pistils. This end of summer time beginning of fall time for plants. Start dropping temps a little bit later. Above the lights in my cab temps are close to 98. Mid plant or mid canopy temps 80. Canopy temps are like 88 close to 90. I gotta add two more pc fans. Can't wait to see this lovely purple girl flower.

Man I just took pics of the setup but my batteries are dead :-|. Cant load them up with my usb. Anyways, @ canopy level its around 76-79 with that a/c unit just using Fan mode lol. Im telling you killa without this unit, the summer time here is so hot and the humidity is so disgusting. Right when you step out ur sweating.

Im not quite sure if im understanding what ya saying. You want me to keep temps in there warm? Those cfl's can get hot idc what anyone says..thats just my opinion. Cant wait to see what she does. Im bout to cut the bottom part of my door so that the pc fans against the wall can suck that cool air from that unit. :peace:

Edit: Doors are only 20 bucks, think I might cut a rectangle and direct air into it, cover it with a poster when friends come. Teehee.

I thought you were trying to go for like cold cold. I feel ya on the heat I live in florida. The humidty makes it feel like you could stick to something if you tried to. Can't wait to move to a more in the middle climate area.

Yea I am shooting for just cold temps since I think she would be more comfortable then in the 80's. Yesterday I talked to my buddy and now we dont know what the clone is. Now they said it might be a haze strain. I hear ya in Oklahoma its the same thing with the heat.

6-8 week veg pics. resizing

Well you've come a long way mate and she's looking ready for some serious flowering.
She's not haze because your plant is leaning toward indica.
The good thing is, no matter what strain she is, I know she is going to bud well by the look of her growth.
You should end up with some glorious colas :hump:
Let the good times begin!

It sure has mammath, you especially have seen what this thing has gone through, as well as others. Im really excited and couldnt care what strain it really is. It makes me feel better to hear you say there is some potential. Lets just hope flowering doesnt give me to much trouble. When I was looking at her I saw some brown spots on a few older leaves - think its a pest problem and possibly some stress? The tip is drying and brown. Besides that...Flowering began last thursday . e

Let me see if I can get these pics at the right size so you can tell me what you think of my new cubbie. To be honest with you, as an architect student I should of came up with something more creative but...this didnt end up being messy really.

Edit: If you missed last page, this was 6-8 weeks of headache veg'n.

As an architect student you must be learning the concept of 'spending others people money', not your own...
All us growers are on budgets :?
Do the best with what you can afford.

...a good grower, with very little financial support, will always do better, when compared to a wealthy 'cockspank' grower, who with all their riches, can't grow shit!'.

get the basics right...

I hope that new cubbie is light tight!

Mammath: Yea I hear that. I guess most of us cheap growers pay a little more attention!! Kidding. I just do tons of research before I start going post crazy. It is kind of light tight..I went inside and had my brother turn on the lights when I was in the closet room (they were off of course before I opened the door, mind you this was at night). He hits the lights on in my bedroom and the only light leak in the closet was through the sides of the door. The back of the cubbie is covered with plastic sheet and every hole I saw was duct taped :weed:. Cant wait

Greenkilla: Thanks man, she is pretty fluffy and big. I freakin love it. I wonder if I should trim her up and get some more light around her.

I know the color trips/freaks me out. Fuck it though lol. I am a very patient person and ive honestly never been more anxious to see something happen!! I know it will be another couple weeks marking yesterday week 1 of flowering. I havent even gave her flowering nutes yet because I thought I was getting some kind of over-nute with some browning on the leaf and tips are dry in couple areas..nothing major. Oh the excitement..she better flower up . loveuplant.

So she has started showing you hairs. Start counting flowering days as soon as you see the first pistil.

:leaf:Peace:leaf:
Oh i see what youre saying. When I see the first sign of a pistil THEN i start my flowering days, not when i switch the lights correct? Damn that sounds newbie.

Edit: When I do see a white pistil when could I possibly take a clone from it? And would that stress it?
