For all the haters and sceptics towards cannabisseeds.com.... bongsmilie

I have recieved my super silver haze.. I sent them a $20 US money order in hopes for something to show up.. if not.. it's 20 bucks and these are for beginner experimentation so quality didn't matter seeing that they might die on me.. If nothing showed up oh well.. I know not to deal with them.. and I would have a thread stating the opposite here..

So I got the money order on march 17th and mailed it via normal canada post.. It's april 2nd and I recived them in my mail box.. Yes they are only in a bubble envelope.. But you can't tell what is in it or is it marked with anything suspicious.. Inside weren't 12 like they proudly give out.. but 13... the heavens above blessed me with a bakers dozen.. all dark and vieny dinasour egg looking...one smaller looking one, but they all look pretty nice.. non cracked or smashed... we'll see how germination goes.. I think i'll do 4-5 and see what happens..

I'll keep you posted.. I'm not biased at all I just took the chance.. I'm about to send off for a couple single fem'd seeds from worldwide-mj-seeds.com. those are for quality... and when the funds are a bit better i'll get some more..

Ok so I started them in various methods.. wet sock, paper towel, soil.. But decided to just go with a nice moist soil mix on top of a heating pad.. also have some in peat pucks.. so far is can see one cracking with a little white head popping out after one day on soil and i'd say 2 days started in the other methods so 3-4 days max..... and i'd say this is the way to go man.. we'll see if the peat pucks win or loose.. but the moist soil is doing great with my vegatables seeds too..

P.S. Wet sock dries out too soon when heated.. ;o)

so far 7 seeds have been germinated.. 5 then 2... out of the 5, 2 are seedlings after 5 days.. 1 has a small tap root and another is just sprouting a little tail... and the remaining 3 are still going.. we will see.. they might have dried out too much in the beginning.. (sock and ontop of my stero reciever.. didn't have many low heat sources) warm moist soil is the way to go.. i have a layer of soil ontop of a heating pad (pad is wrapped in 2 garbage bags) and the other side has peat pucks.. both work great..my vegetable seeds (cucumbers, tomatos, watermelon, and broccoli) popped in 2 days flat.. all withing 4.. crazy.. i'll try and get pics.. i have to remember the cam...

5 out of 7 popped and are seedlings now after 10 days.. the mj seedlings are anywhere from 7-4 days old.. I gave up on the last 2.. i only wanted to keep 2 mothers.. they are all the same so i don't need all 5.. also why i gave up on the last 2 seeds.. no need but i bet they would have popped.. so scratch all rumors about this company.. very satisfied so far for 20 bucks.. and i got an extra seed.. 13.. lucky me.. we will see how they look as mothers.. they are suposed to be fem'd so we will see.. the ones i'm not keeping i will flower and see what it turns out like..

also my closet room.. just vegging under 3 2 foot T5 24 watt HO sunblaster bulbs... my 4th has a problem with the fixture.. i was kinda pissed.. 2000 lumens i'm missing out on.. but I have a spare bulb now...

your seeing watermelon, broccolli, cucumber, and tomato seedlings also in there... those will be going out doors in a month or so.. depending on the weather.. the cuc's popped right away like a day 2 days max.. so they are going real good..

Tell ya what Drr, you sure made me feel a lot better about my order to Cannabisseeds.com. I ordered the same SSH beans you ordered. Hah!
4-07-09 was my order date. I used Paypal, so I'm guessing mine aren't too far behind. After all the stories about folks getting ripped off, I was feeling kinda stupid. But you're right, it's only $20. and these days that's a cheap lesson. But if this batch of beans goes well, I'll be re-ordering bigtime.

Best of Luck to you Partner!

hahahaha thanks guys.. I will definately keep the vegatables updated also.. I researched a bit more and apparently the first guy was busted, but it was taken over by the current guy and so far so good.. the sprouts were a bit lanky.. but that's also due to how shallow I planted them. AND the lights weren't really close at first due to a fear of frying them.. I also went with them because i don't want to spend alot as I don't have alot.
I transplanted 3 mj seedlings out of the small black containers into small pots.. so we will see how well they do. I believe pot size in each stage of growth helps control hieght. (the plant can only grow as tall as the roots go deep due to it falling over) Anyone have experience with this??

As for the vegatables they will be chilling until it's time to go outside.. they are all doing pretty nice.. although the new cuc leaves, the edges are starting the curl under and turn yellow.. I have never nuted them. Soil wasn't nuted, and they are getting their second true leaves and the old leaves are getting ripped of the nutes(turning yellow and wilting) My guess is I need to started feeding them???

THANKS!!!

After reading you post I went right over to cannabisseeds.com (20$!!! too good to pass up) and they had the deal buy 3 strains and get 12 White Widow seeds free!

So head first I go...

FYI, got some Super Silver Haze (feminized), White Rhino and some Hindu Kush... but I'm really interested in the White Widow...

Drr: I have some tomatoes in my grow too and was wondering if you use any of your MJ fertilizers on your veggies? If so what kind? I'm more experienced with MJ so I'm just using my knowledge of MJ on my tomatoes - hope it works! :)

first time on both from seedling.. had some clones last year.. for an outdoor grow.. nursed them till they were ready to go outside.. the cucumbers were starting to wilt and turn yellow around the edges, with the catyldon totally getting raped of its nutes.. So i dropped in home depot to find some more dirt and some fert for around 10 bucks. I had a choice between the Miricle grow 9-6-0 i think.. which was more expensive.. or a smaller bottle of Schultz liquid plant food 10-15-10 with .10 of iron, .05 of mangenese and zinc. So i went for the cheaper smaller bottle of shultz also since its a bit more balanced. I wanted something around 10-5-5 or something i'm not an expert.. I wanted decent nitro and less of the other..
Plus I want to go as organic as possible but that will have to wait for some more funding. I wasnt going to use the fert on the MJ since they arent showing any signs of needing it. But since i mixed a lower dose and i'm in it to experiement I let them have a little to see how they respond. so far so good. I'm going to check in a couple hours.. and the cucs seem to be looking better then they were... might have to give them a bit more next time.. we will see how it goes.. with the next water only watering.. my tomatos were the last veg seeds to pop so they are the youngest.. certain spots on the heating pad were warmer then others.. it's old as hell.

I'm assuming thats too much phos for veg on the MJ??? I will be getting Bone meal (12-0-0 i believe) as soon as I can.

That's what I wanted.. I seen it at rona.. but I didn't want to go all the way there when I was near home depot.

The miricle grow was more in my range of NPK for MJ... but I didn't want to go with miricle grow when i plan to go organic as possible.. specially for flowering..

And I'm assuming the tomato's will be real close to the MJ nutes.. the tomato's are like the buds.. Just my 2 cents...

so I read the box the schultz came in.. and it says its best for starting and transplanting.. and will not burn even in the hottest temps if used as directed..
Sick.. not as worried as I was.. They also look like they love it.. the cucs are almost back to green.. definately getting another dose next watering if they aren't healed completely.. as for the MJ they are perky and the leaves are nice and flat out soaking up the rays... I'm watching closely though..

Why dont people listen, all their seeds are the same really shit strain you couldn't give away, no matter what the label says, it's the same strain, and everyone who got the white widow feminised had mostly males.

first of all.. listen to what? or who?? you? kiss-ass

Do you have first hand experience?

MAYBE you should read... Do YOU really think I sent them 20 bucks thinking i'm getting 130 dollar seeds??? I knew i was lucky to have something show up... I did plenty of research... YOU LISTEN/READ.. before you go telling people to listen.. I want to know if you ever grew out 2 or more sets of these seeds??? preferably a indica and a sativa dominant. RECENTLY... if not where do you get your info???

most of the people who got these seeds are A beginner or B cheap.. and the beginner i wouldn't trust them not having a hand in making it male or hermie. And for the cheap guys they probably don't have a correct setup therefore couldn't be trusted either..

anyone who can grow decent MJ or seed bank experience should be able to figure out that this is too good to be true.. AND ask any of them if they would experiement on expensive seeds if they are on a budget????

HOW ABOUT UNEXPERIENCED PEOPLE KEEP THEIR MOUTH SHUT AND LET SOME OF US EXPERIEMENT.. AND GAIN EXPERIENCE.. WHEN I GROW SOME OUT... THEN I WILL KNOW. AND SO WILL YOU. :hump:

I noticed that too.. good catch.. probably the guy plugging it.. I wouldn't doubt it.. that's smart marketing right there.. BUT I will be taking pictures hopefully today.. they are all nice little seedlings..

I can assure you I am a non-biased guy too broke to get nice seeds to experiement with.. also my first time from seeds in a closet..

By the way.. i just visited the site again.. And they now have online CC orders. AND to all the skeptics about the Osteoarthritis-Hand stuff.. that is his cover.. He must have that as a legit business. I'm not saying it's 100% true.. and they are all real strains.. BUT In a couple months I'm going to grab the mostly indica dominant on their to see the difference from the SSH (sativa dominant?) just for the experiement. THEN I will be able to SHOW you all the results. hopefully side by side..

SO far.. $20 USD which was like 25ish CAN+6.50 for that damn money order.. came to 31.. for 13 seeds.(i was lucky and got an extra) NOW thats roughly $4.50 CAN per seed. AND 5/7 popped. so I have 5 nice seedlings for 22.50 and lost 9 buck so far with the 2, AND those might have been due to me experiementing AND I gave up on the last 2 after I had 5.. that's all I need right now.. the warm moist soil kicks ass... hands down.
That's cheaper then the cheapest $5 generic clones i got last year... and if i get more then a dub off of each then i got my moneys worth. I beleive in genitics. But I also beleive a Sub par genetic can be grown well.. AND I could care less which strain it was... and if theres one thing you will learn in this life.. theres no experience like hands on experience.

:peace:
