True story...
I posted the exact same plans, photos and instructions on a local NW growing site. Everyone immediately started bashing it and saying stuff like "I harvest 2 pounds every 2 weeks so you must suck".
I was just thinking...is there a quantitative yield measurement out there that's standard among growers? For example, something that takes into account time allotted for veg/flower, total grow space...basically, a measurement that considers all grow variables?
What about yield per cubic foot of grow space per week?
So, in your case, StinkBuddy, if you consider the total space of your Veg and Flower area (was it 2x3x9 closet for cloner and veg and 8x7x9 for flower?), you would have a total of 558 cu/ft Total Grow Space.
16 oz per 3 weeks is 5.33 oz per week yield.
558 cu/ft divided by 5.33 oz per week = 105 cu/ft (for an oz each week)
So, this could be a grower's Yield Efficiency Rating (YER)....yours would be 105. The lower the number, the better you are.
Then, when someone says "i get 2# per 2 weeks", you can derive a true apples-to-apples comparison if you knew their YER.
The next question would be that of Power Efficiency and ROI per..........dude, this is fascinating stuff.
What system is currently used to measure efficiency in these areas??
