hey guys, my setup will consist of about 200 plants in 6" wide and 7 inch deep nursery pots stacked 2 high with the bottom cut out of one making it 14 inches deep.

this is the post with the setup if you want any other info.https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/182416-first-time-grow-how-does.html

the room is 7x9 and with 200 pots, under 3 1000 watt HPS with co2 and molasses supplementation. its gonna be a lot of plants growing only to about 35" Is hoping for 1 ounce per plant too much?

1 oz...are you serious? if your not getting 2+ yoru wasting time and money as well as energy. Try for 3 1/2 to 4. I get (with photos to prove) 3-4 out a 5 gal pot and 3-4 lbs out of a 15 gal using absolutely no molassis to slow growth

oh sorry, its my first grow. not really sure what to expect. i want to do it like a SoG type grow though not veg to 35" then flower so i am clear. Im not sure if i will be able to. From what i understand the clones in SoG are put straight to flower and they grow veg for a few weeks. If i start from seeds and have maybe 10" to 14" plants and flower will i get the same result?

btw they are 1 gallon pots with the bottom cut out stacked and secured to another 1 gallon pot so it should be a 2 gallon long pot

200 plants 40" tall(if you can even grow that many in your area and assuming that you can they'd be squished and each wouldn't recieve that much light) you should look for 1/2-3/4th of a o. you have to realize unless they're all squished their going to get a little bushy(which means smaller nugs as opposed to one large one) IMO... take a look at my BB grow i used a 5'1 x 31" x 3' veg and a 3.5' x 4.5' x 8' flower

about the numbers

this is too mush it cuts back on yield

Day 77
(15) 12/12 from seed girls 11 weeks old.

My current 12/12 from seed grow with plants from 30" to 52".

Not to say a word about the smell of the harvest omg.

I only have 15. and you want to 13x this? wow,

Is this a first grow? If no you shoud know your yeilds. If yes you may want to scale down some.

You could go Lollypop like I am doing with my Blueberries. In my 8 x 12 I have close to 200 plants going in a SOG style grow.
Very nice plants! bongsmilie
Is that an ebb&flow or aero table?
Approx what do you yield dry per plant?

Just curious if my sog will come close to the per plant yield.

Sorry for the thread jack op.

thanks for all the replies you guys! It is a first time grow so i dont really know what to expect thats why i ask for advice and i appreciate everyone being honest. I had a feeling that they may be too close together and having them all over each other wont be good but if i remove everything except the top 1/3 of the plant like SoG they cant grow bushy just straight up right? I can space them out a few inches from one another too.

yea tat2ue that's exactly what i was thinking! your setup is really nice btw! i had something like that in mind using plywood and square cut outs to hold the plants in place. really nice!

bump- also would it be smarter to just do around 150-160 plants trying to get as close to an ounce per plant as i could. they are going to be under 3 1000 watt HIDS maybe the extra space will help them. I want to do 200 but if its not feasible with my space limitations i can cut down the number of plants.

It's a DIY E&F . I have two tables that are 3 x 8 with 80 site in each on and I have another table that is 3 X 4 with 48 sites in it. The clones are staggered to the table 40 at a time every 2 weeks so a perpetual harvest can be obtained every 2 weeks of 40 plants. I have not harvested yet since I have completed my room. Will cut in about another week and a half and let ya know. I am hoping for an overall average of about 2 zips wet ea and a dryed and cured weight of 1/2 zip ea. I don't set my expectation to high. But even if the dried wt per ea averages 10 grams ea x 40 per cut that will still be over a QP every 2 weeks on the low side.

not necessarily... they wont flower under 6"... i vegged this for a good month and some change... weighed out just under a half
I beg to differ with you gotot...They "WILL" flower under six inches. I try and keep my clones at a 6-8 in average when I cut from the mothers but once and awhile there will be a shorty thrown in the mix. The picks speak for themself. The short lollypop that stands 7 inches wasabout 3-4 inches when I took it out of the aerocloner. I was gonna toss it but it had a very robust root growth that I said what the hell...I had enough empty sites available at the time. And as you can see there is another one that is flowering and it stands a mighty "SIX" inches talland was about 4-5 inches when I threw it in the flower room.

o well excuse me, i thought we were talking about straight from seed but in the case of clones yea no veg time.... i can't (and will not) believe you get a o off each plant dried w/ no veg time
